  1. Yeah, definitely not going to get them then.
  2. Yeah they have no stock on the RF-82's though, I tried to buy them at my local one here and they were sold out and it says you can't buy them online.
  3. yeah my local FShop doesn't have them yet either was thinking about ordering them online. But I can get a pair of the RF62II's from a different store for $988 and FShop wants $1398 for two.
  4. Okay this is a question for all the Canadians here. FShop has just come out with these Klipsch RF600B speakers and I am wondering if anyone knows if these are the RF-62 II's. I cannot find any reference from Klipsch that refers to the RF600B model number at all. So kind of confused.
  5. Seriously they are an authorized dealer, I live in Brandon so it is only 2 hours away. Wonder how much they sell them for. Next time I am in I will have to ask, or might call them this weekend seeing how I won't get in there till next month. Thanks for that information.
  6. I asked that and they are like Best Buy (well owned by Best Buy) and they do not do custom orders. It is seriously insane trying to get Klipsch speakers here in Manitoba, Canada (or I am not contacting the right dealers). I ended up purchasing the RS42's as with them on sale it ended up being $400 where as when they were not on sale they were selling for $319 a piece. So I will test them out and see how I like them. No one has been able to say if there will be a difference in them at all, I checked the specs and they are practically identicle. But if someone has any advice on the difference between the RS42's vs the RS42 II's please let me know, I have 30 days to return them lol.
  7. The issue is me being in Canada, shipping on them would be horrible, considering if I do go with these RS42's they would be $477 after taxes, no shipping need as have a store here that has them in stock
  8. RF 52's as rear surrounds, never thought about that. yeah I have Klipsch SW450 and RF-52II's as my fronts and RC52II has my centerand currently just using 2 of my old Logitech Z5500 speakers as the rears
  9. So Fshop in Canada has a deal going on right now for the Reference IV RS42's, they are $399 for a pair. I am wondering if there is a big difference in the Reference IV RS42's vs the Reference V RS42II's. I have been looking for some RS42II's for a little while and no one locally has them, I currently have a RC52II as my center and am wondering if I should buy the RS42's or wait till I can find RS42II's/ The specs are very similiar (unfortunately I can't demo the RS42II's) I have heard the RS42's and I like them just not sure if I should pair them with the rest of the Reference V set I have. Please help.[]
  10. Thanks for the information,my wife and I will be buying a house sometime in the next year or so; with that in mind there is no way to know what size room will be our HT, I looked closely at the RC-62 II and for the space we are in now I think it is 12ft x 10ft with an 8.5ft ceiling and the 62 just seemed too much speaker for it at the moment. I am hoping that the house we end up buying will have a partly finished or unfinished basement so I could make the HT room whatever size as my wife only has one stipulation and that is that we can put either a games room for the kids (5year old and 9mth old at the moment) and then the rest is up to me. With what you have said I think that ultimately when we do build our HT depending on the size the current speakers ie the R 52 II set, will be our secondary system for the main room and will decide on the 2nd set of Klipsch once we know the dimensions of our HT room. I just wish that we had a real showroom around here for Klipsch speakers unfortunately the place in town here that sells Klipsch have everything in a room with false walls that are paper thin so I think a lot of sound actually escapes the room and doesn't do the speakers justice. I am going to have to find a place that is close to Manitoba, Canada that has a decent showroom or just suck it up and get passports for the family so we can visit the USA.
  11. congratulations man, that makes me want to check out clist more often
  12. bumping, hmm curious why no one has chimed in giving their opinion on the matter
  13. Okay I just purchased a RC-52 II and a SW-450, as I am going to slowly upgrade my HT setup. My plan is to get the RF-52 II's,RB-51's and RS-52 II's as well as an Integra DTR-40.2. My wife and I are looking for our first house so I have no idea what size room everything is going to get put into; so my question is did I limit myself by going with the RC-52 II over the RC-62 II or the RC-64 II? I am by no means an audiophile, I enjoy all types of music and I really enjoy watching movies with my wife and the kid. I had first got the RC-42 II and I wasn't impressed with it at all, then traded it in and got the RC-52 II which I am happy with currently, it is a huge improvement over my POS Sony speakers I was currently using. The vocals are nice and clean as well as crisp. Currently I run and Onkyo TXSR607 (have to upgrade to utilize 3D with the 46"HX909) but I rarely have the amp turned up past 12 as we are currently living with my in laws while I finish school which is in a few weeks. I haven't even been able to setup the sub properly either but in time it will get configured. Sorry I like to talk, errr I ment type, so the question was did I limit myself by going with the RC-52 II and should I step up to the next set? Appreciate any opinions given. Oh and the decision to go with Klipsch was a no brainer after hearing them at the store, can't wait to get the next speakers in the setup.
