Hello, everybody! I'd like to tell you a tale! I picked up some Klipsch ProMedia 4.1's after reading all the reviews that they kicked ***. Well, I was much impressed! But there was a downside. I started to turn them up, and they turned completely to static whenever the bass came in. So...I took them back. I picked up a brand new box of the very same kind from the very same store. A week later, I had the same problem. I checked the forums here, then decided to email Amy about it. Amy was very very helpful, and she figured out my speakers had the sub problem, and so I decided to do a cross shipment to Klipsch, which worked out very well. Now, I'm sitting here enjoying my wonderfully working 4.1's. I have a few questions, though. I have a Soundblaster 5.1 Live! soundcard, and it is just me, or do my speakers get a LOT louder than the ones in the store? Well, anyway. I have the master volume control set at half, and when I turn my speakers up to half-way, it seems like if I go any farther, they might go out. I do not believe these have a problem, I just wonder how far I can turn these up without worry? Does anyone understand me? Hehe, thanks in advance!
