  1. sorry, i don't think i'll be selling the SWS. i think i would miss it too much! i might look into some better cable, though
  2. hey! i was going to say that i'll sell it for $100, because that's what I payed for it.. but I can't even find them for sale anymore (didn't look that long, though). Are they for sale? I have the same set up as you (sound card, speakers), did you notice any difference with the 16 gauge wires?
  3. alright, thanks for the info and the advice guys!
  4. The blue light for the control pod isn't coming on. The pod still works (increased bass when I turn it up). The SWS itself still works because I feel the air moving out the back, too. Has anyone else had this problem? I just noticed it tonight. It's probably not a big deal, but I just wondered if this happens a lot or not? I got the SWS in January. Thanks for any help!
  5. Well, Justin, I changed my settings to the way you have them, and I didn't notice much of a change in volume, so I guess we are set about the same. Pardon me (I didn't read the manual), but what exactly does the surround do? Also, more on the "blowing up your speakers" part of my topic, do you worry about that? What if you want it loud? Thanks!
  6. Hello, everybody! I'd like to tell you a tale! I picked up some Klipsch ProMedia 4.1's after reading all the reviews that they kicked ***. Well, I was much impressed! But there was a downside. I started to turn them up, and they turned completely to static whenever the bass came in. So...I took them back. I picked up a brand new box of the very same kind from the very same store. A week later, I had the same problem. I checked the forums here, then decided to email Amy about it. Amy was very very helpful, and she figured out my speakers had the sub problem, and so I decided to do a cross shipment to Klipsch, which worked out very well. Now, I'm sitting here enjoying my wonderfully working 4.1's. I have a few questions, though. I have a Soundblaster 5.1 Live! soundcard, and it is just me, or do my speakers get a LOT louder than the ones in the store? Well, anyway. I have the master volume control set at half, and when I turn my speakers up to half-way, it seems like if I go any farther, they might go out. I do not believe these have a problem, I just wonder how far I can turn these up without worry? Does anyone understand me? Hehe, thanks in advance!
