  1. LOL!!! The lens is a wide angle 10-22 so it makes it seem that way....now only if it would really hppen LOL!!!
  2. Figured I would post a few pics of my Ht...in the pics I couldn't get the RB-61II surrrounds in the pic so I just left them out LOL!! Left side of front sound-stage: RB-61 (getting Rb-61II in 2 days to replace these) Height speaker: RC-64II Center speaker (My favorite LOL!):
  3. I use these corner shelves for my height speakers and they work great!!
  4. A memberb here showed me these and i am mounting RB-61II with them....but dipoles may prove difficult with these. I am still finding info on these.
  5. This is one of the reasons I like this forum, we can have a fun thread and nobody gets all mad and offended...some other forums there would have been people getting all upset LOL!!
  6. Maybe he's got reeeeeeeeeeeeealy big ears? Nope, I am getting plastic sugery to get them extended LOL!!
  7. That's funny......if it was that close he may have to put some tape on "the'' seat, a butt alignment mark to make sure he is the exact spot. Just joking Robc, don't blame you for wanting the most from the speakers and your on the right track it's just not that precise. Although some people are that particular for those who are ever thought about a chin brace so your head is in the perfect position every time, I'm surprised they don't sell one at the magic rocks and $3000 a foot speaker wire store, there slacking. ROFLMAO!!! I just want it the area...I did find out that my tweeter was pretty far off LOL!!
  8. it doesn't need to be a pinpoint aim. As long as it is close LOL!!
  9. That is what I was seeing and it confused me LOL!! This has turned out to be a great thread!
  10. When I place my speakers I put a piece of tape on the cabinet (on the side ) where the middle of the tweeter would be and use a laser to see where the middle of the tweeter is directed (height) and try to get the middle of the tweeter to be at ear level. So for "height speakers" I angle them down so the tweeter is at angle where it will be at ear level when you put a horizontal laser on it. floorstanding speakers you are pretty much stuck wth where they are LOL!! Do you guys think this correct or should the middle of the tweeter be a bit lower since the farther away you are the more the sound cone expands?? It may be a bit excessive but the money we all spend on these set-ups I think it is a small detail or adjustment that can be made to better the sound exspeacially with the center channel. Thanks for any oinions!
  11. My wire is color coded so it should help. I was listening to my system today and it was loud enough to where I could not be in the room so i am wondering if I need a amp LOL and that was only at -1.5 (wich is loud but can go higher).
  12. will do for sure...may be getting some sound treatments to!
  13. Some people are saying since klipsch is so efficent that I would see no benefeit from this amp and my denon has more than enough power. I kinda disagree with this since for EX. My denon 4311Ci is rated at 140 watts per channel....but when they rate these amps I believe they rate them with 2-channel so it is way lower than if you are using 9.2 off the reciever. so for EX. In a movie There is a sudden explosion and the speakers need instant power...wouldn't this amp have so much headroom that it could do this easily? I would think there would be a difference in sound? any opinions on this?
  14. Oh!! I totally misundersood you...I thought you meant "Had to match the label"
  15. That was my problem LOL!! I thpought each speaker had a red/white RCA....it is only "1" no this makes sense...thanks for the pic also!
  16. So basically Fr from my denon has to match Fr into the XPA-5??? If so I can't use this amp because I have no intentions of doing my surrounds with this amp and there is no label for "front wides" on the XPA-5. I run Audyssey DSX.
  17. I am about to purchase a Emotiva XPA-5 (Link below if needed) and have a couple of questions for people who own theses, on my recievers pre-outs (Denon AVR-4311Ci) I have 2 otputs (red & white) that would go to the Emotiva XPA-5 but the XPA-5 only has 1 input??? Who does it get the signal if there is only one?? Do I just use i output on the 4311Ci?? Also the channels are labeled on the XPA-5 FR, FL, RS,LS does it matter what speakers I hook up because I am getting this to put power to my Center (RC-64II), fronts (RF-82II) & wides (RF-82II) and want to make sure they get the correct signal. I have never used a external amp but think it is about time to do it LOL!! Emotiva XPA-5: http://emotiva.com/xpa5.shtm Emotiva Audio cables I am using 2nd ones down on the list: http://emotiva.com/interconnects.shtm
  18. I got this message from the seller...he seems like he wants to help. Oh my. I am very sorry. That sounds weird. Either way, let me know if Klipsch can replace/fix whatever is needed, And/Or I can call up the Klipsch distrbutor where I bought it from and have them replace/fix. Let me know, again, I'm sorry and had no idea . thx, Jon I think your best bet is to follow-up on this with the seller to fix the bezel issue if you still don't want to return it. Well I aVERY fortunate...the sellers distributor is sending be a brand new unit and even has a packing slip in the box of the new unit so I can send the defective one back.......He has earned my bussiness to say the least!!!
  19. Yeah. So did I until I got banned exposing a troll Fwiw, I have 1,000 posts in that thread alone and felt I gave good advice over the years...sigh. well that sucks.
  20. If the box was unopened there should be no apparent signs of damage during shipping. I also agree the missing bezel is intriquing, but if you're happy with your purchase and you have a local dealer willing to help you then you are on the right track. Here is the scuff that is only on the face in spots, I believe it was the cover sliding around....I am sure a black marker can take care of that.....do you guys think that is a big deal? I know it sucks but you should return that speaker. Just too much stuff wrong with it imo I am beggining to think this to...it does sound great but I paid for a new speaker not a open box floor model (This appers to be one IMHO LOL!!)
