  1. Esoteric K01 XD and Luxman D10X are the 2 top players now with built in DAC very hard to get either one . I started out with K01 XD very good , I’m now comparing it to the Luxman .
I didn’t have a chance to listen long but will tonight . I feel so far that there is a good chance the Luxman might come out on top .

  2. I always wanted to try these tubes, but the brand new price of these scared the H#!! out of me!
I came across these used on Canuck Audio Mart at a decent price and pulled the trigger...

  3. Rodney, I have some Digital Audiophile Oil that will protect your cables and equipment from the detrimental sonic effects of gravity. You just pour it over everything in an even coat. $5,000 per 5ml bottle. Shoot me a PM if interested.

I’ve been using cat urine for years

  4. Oké but what kind of amp and power per channel would be recommended for my LCR?

Depends if you want it for 2 ch or HT or both , if just HT get a cheap Emotiva . I’d never do 2 ch and HT combo but that’s just me

  5. For some time now I'm in doubt if it will be worth it to go for external amplification on my living room setup.
Met setup is 5.1.4, with RP600M, RP500C and RP500M as 5 ear level speakers, my 4 height channels are older Jamo S60 Sur (87 Db sensitive).
My AVR is an Onkyo TX-RZ830 with a reasonable amount of power.

When I listen to music in two channel / stereo mode, I don't have the feeling my Onkyo is short on power.
However I'm wondering if it is worth it to go for external amplification to have better and fuller sound in Stereo mode and in the mean time also have more and quicker power to my speakers when watching movies in 5.1.4 configuration.
On the other hand I don't want to give the RP600M to much power, since they are rated for 100 watts continues.

Any advice or thoughts are more than welcome!

Run surrounds off AVR and the front off a 3ch amp

  6. Heard a similar pair, not those, earlier models I would guess they sounded very nice. The only problem was the power needed, it took a bunch of WPC.

They sure love power that’s for sure

  7. Across or length?

24mm at it's widest point to 21mm at it's narrowest.

135mm from bezel to tip of strap and 95mm from bezel to tip of buckle.

  8. I teetered back and forth between it and the twin sensor model(GG1000-1A3) and for only $30.00 more for the quad sensor it was a no brainer decision.

For such a large watch, it does not wear that way.  I have a small/medium wrist at 6.9 inches and it fits nice and snug with no prominent gaps.

  9. Got this with birthday money(yes parents still send a card and $$$) today through Amazon and all set up on the G-SHOCK app.  Quad sensors: altimeter/barometer, temperature, compass, step counter.  This thing does a lot.
    It rocks.  Big and bold.
