thats what everyone says about having the crossovers done on the RF7's and the RC7's as well. That really makes me wonder what they would sound like now.I think it was willand that said he thinks it goes RF7>RF83>RF7ii>RF7w/Dean Crossovers. And worst case if the RF83's sell first and I cant take the dents in the cones on the RF7's.I can get new woofers for $162 each from Klipsch

So in my retarded head that is what I have in mind.So I listed both sets of speakers on craigslist. So if the RF83's sell first then perfect I will keep the RF7's and send the crossovers to Dean. And if the RF7's sell first then I already love the sound of the RF83's.So kinda win win for me I guess. And the only reason I used the biwire is that was the only decent cable I had.And on the RF7's I had to use the biwire and again the seller gave me the wire with the RF7's too.Now if I can just get one of the pairs to sell I can start working for sure on the center.

So this could be a stupid question. So the guy I got the RF7's from gave me the biwired monster wire that he had hooked up to them.So would it make any difference in sound for the RF83's if I also hooked them up biwired as well as the RF7's.I am just curious if this is why they sound a bit better than the RF7's.

I wasnt trying to make you mad FISH.Just saying $6000 worth of speakers in 2 sets of RF83's versus $3000 worth of speakers in the RF7's.When there isnt much difference in sound at all between the 2.I like both dont get me wrong. And holy crap those are awesome prices you paid for the 83's dang.So whats your opinion of the RC64 against the RC7 then since you have both

I understand you love your RF7's but that is a little absurd saying you wouldnt' take 2 pairs of RF83's.Don't get me wrong they sound amazing and look great minus the dings in the cones.I still have both and will keep testing throughout the night and tomorrow morning to see if the RF7's change my mind.

So I listened and listened and listened and then I listened to both of them.So I think the RF7's are a little brighter but not night and day difference. And I think the bass out of the RF83's is a little bit better. So between the RF83's being almost brand new and the RF7's having a few dings in the cones.I have decided to go with the RF83's.So now I am in need of a RC64.Anyone selling one in good shape by chance.

Perfect that is what I wanted to know on the Y adapters.I will go ahead and do the Y adapters.Besides the cable you referred to in your last post on this are there any that are better than others without breaking the bank of course.Or how about bang for your buck or do they all do the same thing or no

Okay so I am trying to do an A/B comparison with my rf7's an rf83's, but I would like to have both of my RW-12D's hooked up to see what they sound like together. So I have done a bunch of research but have not found a for sure answer. Also I know that everyone hates monster but on amazon they have some of the THXi100-SW25 sub cables for $17 each are they worth getting. Thanks again guys
