  1. Can DVD-RW's copy DTS-DVD's? The new HP200i thats in the market supports upto 4.7 GB. Do you guys think this is applicable for the DTS sound format also? It would be great if i can take these DVD's on rent and burn them. Would you still get the same quality is sound and picture?

  3. No.. i don't drive it too hard. And yes it has proper ventilation. I've never set the timer, but i don't think its that.. sometimes it does'nt have any problem through out. Anyways.. i'll keep looking and also inform Marantz. Thanks for you help..guys
  4. I have a Marantz SR-8000 connected to KLF-30's & KLF-C7. The receiver trips (switchs off) after nearly half and hour of listening everytime. I have checked the cables for loose connections and have rewired the whole system twice, still the same. Can you please help me out with this.
  5. I've taken the center off the floor now.. yes, it sounds much better. And the back wall is not straight.. my room is more of a polygon shape..does'nt have much help with accoustics..
  6. Oh yeah.. my room is not accoustic.. Still saving up to do that..and much more HAPPY LISTENING
  7. Under the KLF-30's I have 2 different materials, on the top (the white thing u see in the pic) is a hard marlble slab which gives more depth to the bass and would also be good for spiking the mains (which i am yet to try). Below the slab is an anti-vibration pad, made from thick cork-sheet. Its basicly used for industrial purposes to prevent the vibration on the floor. I'm living in an apartment and had a lot of complaints from the people downstairs.. when i play these babies loud the floor would shake. The cork sheet had solved that problem.
  8. Yeah.. i will check out the MC2015.. What do you guys think about bi-amping with 2 pairs of mc162's.. cos they cost almost the same one MC202
  9. My friend wants to get a Mcintosh Amp to drive his Jamo's which are 150watt @8 ohms, with 92db sensistivty..he's decided ona MC162 or MC202 both stereo amps. The MC162 gives 100watts @ 8ohms & 160watts @ 4ohms where as the MC202 gives 200watts @ 8 ohms and the same at 4 ohms also. Why is that? What is the theory behind that and would there be any difference between the two othere than their power. thanks
