the wiz will be having a huge speaker sale from january 1-3. all speakers 25% off (except bose). since the wiz don't carry SB2's anymore, i'll have to buy the SB3. i'll end up paying $337 with the discount=). I will most likely buy them on the spot tomorrow. i'll let u guys know how i think about them.

i have a question. i have a 150 watt 8" subwoofer and i feel that its pretty much gonna be useless cause the sb3's got 8" woofers as well. i will upgrade my sub in the future, but for now should i use the sub that i have or not? the sub's frequency response is 30-200hz. the SB3's go down to 42's right? but if i mount the SB3's against the wall will that be enough bass to turn off my sub?

UPDATE: i went to the wiz today to audition klipsch. The SF2's sounded great to me, but they cost $600!!. Since they had no SB2 in stock, i will most likely buy the SB3. One question, if i mount the sb3 against the wall would it mess up the midrange? i wouldnt really mind for alot of bass out of it, but i just hope the sound quality doesnt suffer.

hi im planning to go to the wiz to get some klipsch bookshelf speakers. I was going to buy the SB2's but the salesman told me that they are discontinued. Im pretty much stuck with the SB1's unless i order online to get the SB2. Is there a big difference in sound quality between the two? i have heard that the SB1 uses cheap tweeters compared to the more expensive synergy bookshelfs. I have a fairly small living room so i dont really need alot of power.

i hope someone does a review on the promedias with the monster cable upgrade. i wonder how they compare now to the logitechs and altec 641's.

I have noticed some improvements in terms of sound quality. I popped in some songs and i noticed that the vocals are a bit more clearer and the frequency range is improved. My speakers are now distorion free and i could not hear a slight hiss when i put my hears against it when i pause a song. I felt like the original wires were a bottle neck to my promedias. The wire upgrade really made it sound the way it was made to sound.

I just recently bought the speakerwire upgrade for my promedia 4.1. I just wanna know if there is a difference in quality between a 16 gauge wire from radio shack compared to the monster cable one.

i read on the site that it should only be used with 5.1's. If this is so, then should i just get the hollywood plus card to get true dolby digital sound?

i can't wait to finally get rid of my DTT2500's and i just sold them to my friend. Does anyone here who has a similar set up like mine have a good experience from switching from cambridge to klipsch?

I just wanted to know if i did the right thing cause i really wanted to hear what THX certified speakers compare to my cambridge. I felt dissatisfied with the DTT2500 because of the lack of balance in the sound. I got the DTT's a year ago and i hope i wasn't too rational on buying the new klipsch 4.1's. I was really thinkin' of gettin the Klipsch 5.1's but i can't really afford it right now. Hope you guys think i made the right choice and im looking forward to hear what you guys have to say.
