Two weeks dealing with a cold that turned into a sinus infection (no hearing in the right ear) I decided to get out in the 74 degree weather.  Washed the Volvo then went to LF's and picked up the Bubble and washed it.  After 2 weeks of inactivity I will be bushed tonight.  And with half hearing no music for a spell.  Doc says by the end of the week it should be gone but he made me an appointment with the ear, nose, and throat folks just in case.

Enough about me how sick are you guys?

We all came down with the flu last year over Thanksgiving weekend and we so hope to avoid a repeat this year!  It was miserable!

Warmed up to 32 today - it feels nice!  It's been 0 or 18 and 35mph winds - I'll take cold over wind anytime!

Keep our three year old in your thoughts and prayers on Friday - have three hernias fixed up.  Should be routine - surgery is always unsettling on the littles.

Enjoying cup #2! :emotion-44: Have a wonderful week!

  3. I briefly interrupt this coffee discussion to share this pic of our family DC/Marvel mashup last night.  The boys loved being superheroes of course.  Little bits was Superman.  He’s one month today.  Time scoots.

On the coffee note - we had that white machine on the cart in the Tonys coffee corner (gray box).  It worked well - we got it as a wedding gift and my wife was a barista for a while so that worked out pretty well for me!

if you were sharing it ..it would of

    been gutted and butchered..

and sent to a few of us...

    that looks mighty tasty ....

    thank you for posting....how's the

    New little one.

Indeed he would be great for the freezer, but believe it or not, he's not legal and it's not the season anymore.  That's why he so boldly comes in and eats our potted plants.

Thankfully we have plenty in the freezer from the brother in laws hunt this year.  We use the ground moose in place of ground beef for just about everything all year long, tacos, spaghetti, etc.

Little one is wonderful!  He's a month already on Wed.  He SLEEPS!!!  You can handle just about anything when the infants sleep!

  5. Good morning and happy Friday of sorts to you all!

It is a balmy 15 degrees this morning and we had our first snow dust of the week, though it has melted off.  Coffee is ALWAYS better when it's cold out.

Taking a Friday off this week - excited for the long weekend as it's the second weekend since May that it will just be our family under our roof.  (Long story but the inlaws went home this week - great people, but it's nice to have the house back).

Enjoying a dark roast and Eagles station on Pandora.

    Cheers!

That's what we said after the third in 3 years, fixed that problem.

I'm sure this is uncomfortable for the wife, full term and full size, must be rough. I remember with my wife, it looks like it would feel terrible.  I couldn't do it, just thinking about the last 10 minutes freak me out, not even counting the months before.

    Any day now DAD

She had her 41 week appointment yesterday - all looks well - he's just happy I suppose.  I give my wife all the credit in the world, she's been a champion with this.  There's truth to the old adage of why women have the babies - the species would likely have terminated long ago!

My Mom had 3 sons in less than 22 months, and 10 days. You will have fun, keep us posted :D

I doubt I'll go to Starschmucks to get coffee, probably the local convenient store. My wife has a Keurig, but it's some flavored stuff.

Ours are five and almost 3.  3 boys in under two years - you must have been the best of "frienemies!"  No one pushes one's buttons quite as well as a sibling...

Congratulations, and a boy, we never had one of those models.

    Thank you!

We have asked the two boys for name ideas.  We were given "Bob" ("but I'm gonna call him Bubba") aaaaand Scooterdolph; shortened from Scooter Rudolph.  I have asked my 2yo not to be too disappointed if we don't go with Scooterdolph, but he's free to call him bubba all he wants.

These are the good ol days!

I needed to cleanup the top of the 2ch speakers for some rearranging, so I started with separating some extra cables. This is just extra cables that never made it to the overflowing milk crate of cables in the garage.

None of these could be seen behind the horn, kind of a place to catch stuff when I don't want to be bothered putting it where it should be. It's a mix of Rca, 3.5mm headphone, XLR and optical cables, plus a little bit of everything else counting the milk crates. I have no idea how I ended up with so many leftover, and Monoprice will be delevering a few I did not have in a few days, XLR to RCA. Kind of crazy.

edit; ipad pic's are terrible:o I used it just for convenience, not good.

I thought maybe you were contributing to the spaghetti thread.  That's quite a stash!

Tarheel - looks like the thread survived some turbulence!  Whew~!  Onto the next!

Enjoying a 12oz Americano from the coffee shop below my office - ahhhhhhh....

Baby boy #3 due in one week!  anyday possibilities at this point... queue the butterflies!

  9. Nothing to add other than welcome biglion and it's great to see everyone continually come alongside newer members to help out.  I tip my cap gentleman!

Keep asking questions biglion - even if you think they're "stupid".  Get em answered now and you'll save yourself a lot of aggravation later!

Good luck!  That's a sweet setup!
