  1. I have built my Baby-Scalas and have a Lascala II for a center with KG3s for surround. It is my insanity that drives me to build a set of jubilee LF cabs for the front and delete the KG3s from the set up(Babies as surround). I have had a blast building the baby-scalas and overwhelmed on the sound they give.

I want to move forward to the only other speaker that is on my bucket list. Size is not a factor to me nor where they will rest. I have followed builds here and can only say."Wow!!!" Everyday I visit the site I am inspired and dumbfounded by the skill of the members here. Everyone has been so helpful, understanding, and patient with my dumb%. I can't give enough props to the members here (A true wealth of knowlege). One of the greatest things has been that everyone that experiences them here in my small part of the world is speechless on the sound that only Klipsch can make.

  2. I built the mid horn as a goof to see if I could make a 4 way system. Its a 20.5" w x 11" h x 12" d horn. 1 cubic foot box witha a K-6-K 8". The tops are K-84-K Tweeter and the midrange is K-700 with a K-55V. Using a stock Type E crossover for the new horn with the top. The bass bin is running mono on a Carver TFM-15 at 150Hz. I have no clue what I am really doing but this one speaker alone sounds amazing. The neighbors hate just the one. Plan to finish number two this week.

  3. They are definatly crisper and require less wattage than before. Crossover may have alot to do with it since I am using a type E network.

Truthfully I was worried that they would sound bad after following the vast amount of threads here. I am happy and wouldn't change anything on the bass bins. The volume the things carry is so much better. Not to take a thing away form any original design. Klipsch inspired my insanity of a build.

    Klipschaholic I have become.

  4. Don Dorsey's Beethoven or Bust was the first thing I heard on Klipsch speakers in 88' and have been sold ever since.

This has been my rule to judge all audio equipment.

What was your first, or your rule?

  5. The 1133s will be for the front pair, and the tweeters I had been looking at many options. There is the APT 50 to 150s. Looked at some K-60s listed on ebay, but no real info on them.

The rear set in progress will follow more to the orignals (k-400 & 55s and k77s)

By the end of the summer I plan on having all 5 finished.

Having a blast even if I don't know what Im doing

  6. Anyone ever use these with with a K 1133 driver? Going to use 1133 drivers for the scala tops and looking over horns.
