Well nothing is going to stop the sound waves of that sub i have, it shakes the whole house
but the only other sound bleed i get is thru the air intake because it runs thru the same duct
as the living room right above but if i close the vent it's not noticable listening at normal volume

Jason's right, that's exactly what i did on my HT Dave R25 insulation all around with the furring strips
its nice and quiet

your old cables will work but all the new features will not work on your existing equipment .
your equipment is obsolete going forward ,
IE; all those guys who bought that great deal on the Denon of last year's model , it wasn't such a great deal after all
I dunno--I got a good deal on the Denon AVR-4311ci and don't see how just because HDMI 2.0 has just been announced it is already "obsolete." Why should I be unhappy with my decision?

Got the Oppo setup today, Super easy menu setup (easier than my Ps3)
after the frimware update got everything adjusted just right and then proceeded to play a data disc that i burned some
192/24bit music file too and the oppo played them flawlessly, the music sounded remarkable, I cant believe i waited so long
to buy this unit, it's really amazing. Also played a SACD and a DVD-audio disc and this player does it all
i connect a spare monitor i had to the denon 4311 and i use that for my menu screen for music playback.
I highly recommend this player if your in the market for a new one, you wont regret it
