  1. I just got my KSW-12. And have wired it up.

This will be on a wood floor. Should I get a special

kinda of either carpet or wood or somehting for the

sub to fire into? What should i put under the sub for

better sound? I think the sound quality would be

increased with something better under it then an old

    creaky wood floor.

    Thanks,

  3. Hey guys I just purchased a KSW 12 and had heard of

different ways to wire it up my reciever. It has 2 sub

outputs. Now from what I understand these are not

right and left sub since a sub is mono but they are

just 2 sub outs so I know I run the 1 cable out of

the reciever but on my KSW-12 I have 2 inputs. I have

    a L/LFE ( left ) and then a R ( right ) should I run

my cable from the right out to the sub out? or my left/

lfe to my sub out OR should I run 1 cable out of the

reciever and then to a Y to both inputs on the KSW-12

what are the benefits or whats the best way that will

give me the best sound. Heres a picture of what I mean.

  7. my room size is 15x12 will the KSW 10 be enough?

you can read below what i have. I was gonna get

the 12 but cant afford it and think it would maybe

be over kill the only thing i have to compare to

is my girlfirends "dont laugh" same size room with

an acoustimass bose setup sub and its pretty loud

will this 10 blow that away and will it be enough

    for my room?

  8. Hey guys I have the opertunity to buy either the

KSW 12 or the Velodyne CHT10 which sounds better?

handles more power? I know the KSW 12 weighs in at

36lbs or so and the Velodyne 55Lbs but weight doenst

always tell the story as to which is a better sub.

I would like whichever one sounds better and hits

harder I would rather keep it klipsch if they will

    be simular

  11. Whats up guys well i finally picked up my SB-3s for

fronts. They sound great with my SC-1 center channel.

Whats the optimum height speaker stands I should use

with these. The speakers are 17 inches tall. Also I

was looking into a set of Wood Tech stands but all

of them are like 8x8 where the speaker goes up top

and the SB-3s are 8 wide x 11.25 deep. If you could

recomend a stand that would work good ( shouldnt the

stand be as deep as the speaker? )and also a Height

of stand I would apreciate it.

    Thanks,

    Daryl Gregg.

  13. Question one, what are the benifits of Bi wiring I hear everyone saying it makes a big diffrence should you bi wire all your speakers or just your mains which serve as your primary stereo 2 channel speakers? as well as home theatre front speakers. And if so Can you

biwire SB-3s? I have a Sony STR-DE975 Reciever not the

greatest but this is my first home theatre setup its

110x5 and has all the goodies of the better ones. Whats a good speaker wire to run? I have all AR cables should i run AR speaker cable too? and if so what gauge 16? For my second question which are the best for the money speaker stands which will put my SB-3's at optimal height and a decent price im willing to spend up to $125 on speaker stands I just want a decent looking set as well as good performing and ones

that the speaker fit on good and look nice. Any help i would apreciate thanks guys..
