I need to take the control pod off so that I can put my speakers in a better position (but I need the control pod close so I can still use headphones conveniently). I actually have the 2.1's, but I posted here because there is much more traffic in the 4.1 section. The cable is pretty thick and will be a struggle to get it out of the hole in the stand. ------------------ Promedia 2.1's shizzle my nizzle!

Hi, I need to know how after you separate the control pod from the speaker (just sliding it back), how in the heck are you supposed to get the wires out of their little hole in the stand. One of the wires will fit, but the bigger wire with the DIN plug is too big and I don't want to tear it up. Is there an easy way to get it out?
