  1. is a DVD player can be considered as a receiver? ------------------ i am stupid and i know i am
  2. i think it is a 4.1 set? justin? ------------------ i am stupid and i know i am
  3. i thought the audio tornado is only for PM5.1? ------------------ i am stupid and i know i am
  4. oh, i see, thanks for your advise! :D by the way, do you recommmend any combination of speakers and receiver if the budget is just around 400 to 450 ? ------------------ i am stupid and i know i am
  5. actually i mean, if i have only GTXP sound card, and wish to buy speakers and receiver, means that no PM4.1 involved in the whole setting, to make it a home theater system. i thought all receiver would have spdif output or optical output?? ------------------ i am stupid and i know i am
  6. i have a GTXP sound card and i wish to know if i can hook up any home theater system on my sound card or not? if i can, would that affect the sound quality of the home theater system? i already have a PM4.1 but i just wanna know if it is possible, if it is possible to hook home theater system to my sound card, i might think of Klipsch's. ------------------ i am stupid and i know i am
  7. n2v, how did you get that replacement for the whole set of 4.1's free from best buy? are you having some kinda 4-year service plan or 2-year plan from the bestbuy? and i don't understand which pod of yours was broken... which one? ------------------ i am stupid and i know i am
  8. i thought in the new driver, you can choose "4.1 speakers" instead of the 4 speakers? and 4.1 speakers actually sound better than 4 speakers mode. ------------------ i am stupid and i know i am
  9. thanks guys. actually i can live with the speakers like that but i just don't wish to pay so much and get not perfect set. ------------------ i am stupid and i know i am
  10. what cable? i got 2 cable from the control pod to the sound card. one is purple color and another one is green color. i plug them behind the sound card which laballed "front" and "surround". i DID try to unplug the 2 cables to totally disconnect the speakers and the sound card (so that the speakers don't get any input from anywhere), but still, there is hissing sound anything can be concluded from there? ------------------ i am stupid and i know i am
  11. nite nite ------------------ i am stupid and i know i am
  12. yeah, it helps ------------------ i am stupid and i know i am
  13. so the final suggestion is, get to bestbuy to replace? ------------------ i am stupid and i know i am
  14. yes. he got his in bestbuy too. ------------------ i am stupid and i know i am
  15. my friend got the exactly same problem as i do, would that be so coincident that we get 2 defective set at the same time? when i use the headphone jack, the headphone has sound and the speakers also have sound. they both have sound. but if i turn off the power on the control pod, then the headphone still has sound though. the hissing sound won't change if i change the volume of the system. so, the conclusion is still to bring back to bestbuy? what a coincidence then... ------------------ i am stupid and i know i am
