  1. I was just coming here to mark them "sale pending" I have someone locally coming on Saturday to buy them. If it falls through, I'll let you know.
  2. Manuals have been secured along with a couple other pieces of literature (pictured above).
  3. Yes, just being totally up front - don't want to "hide" anything from a prospective buyer.
  4. Thanks - here's a pic of the imperfection....and a thumbnail of the back of the other speaker.
  5. I have a sale pending on these as of 5/27 - will edit once they are officially gone. I'm the second owner of these incredible speakers - both of us to exemplary care of them. In fact until yesterday when I went to move them to take these pictures, there were ZERO cosmetic imperfections. A tiny flake of veneer came off from one of the corners where I was grabbing it. Obviously they are 100% functional and the folks here don't need me to go on about their performance. Only reason I'm letting them go is that I'm selling of a huge portion of my personal belongings and preparing for a move that will allow more time to take care of my aging parents. I have the original boxes and packing, but am not willing to ship them. Probably have the manuals somewhere too, but I'd have to dig a bit. I'm new to this forum, but have nearly 600 all positives on Ebay as 6strings-14clubs, and am a very prominent member of The Acoustic Guitar Forum as Fitness1 where I was a moderator for some time. I normally deal in handmade acoustic guitars and have a great reputation on the AGF for disclosing every little tiny imperfection, as I've done here. I've been on the wrong end of that way too many times before and would never do that to someone else. These are available for pickup in Midland Michigan - in the center of the lower peninsula about 100 miles north of Detroit and Lansing. I'm about 3 miles from the expressway (US-10) and very easy to find. Firm price on these given the condition is SOLD - SOLD. I'm pretty confident you won't find too many 29 year old Cornwalls in this shape. Send a pm or email at fitstop at charter dot net.
  6. Yes, I'll do that when I get a few minutes to do it right!
  7. until I picked them up to move them, they were in PERFECT cosmetic condition - but a 1mm by 4mm piece of veneer came off one of the corners I grabbed
  8. People wanted to see pics.....I'll post a few - if you want more email me at fitstop@charter.net
  9. That's a full time job. My wife and I were the main care givers to my parents the 3 years before they passed and we both had full time jobs. They were both well into their 90's. It can be very taxing. Be sure to take some time for yourself when you can. Thanks - it's not quite to that point yet, but it's just the three of us left. I get a good bit of time to myself, but just can't get away (ie out of town) much. And, that's fine - time to give back. I've been most of the places I've wanted to see already
  10. That would be fun, went through back in the early 80's once - I'm sure some things have changed. Unfortunately I can't get away these days to due ailing parents (one of the main reasons the Cornwalls are going) I'm "converted" into the one-off builders now and haven't owned many factory built guitars for quite a while. I just replied to your PM.
  11. That would be very welcome! I've always been into audio gear too, but my "specialty" is high end acoustic guitars and I'm used to those being more "shippable"
  12. Will you list them here? I may, but had planned on Craigslist as I won't be shipping them - going to have to be a local pickup. I'm in Midland MI.
  13. Thanks for the "assists" guys - I'm getting ready to list these due to a move and wanted to know for sure what year they were.
  14. It's funny, I never even paid attention to the serials when I was selling them, except to write them on the invoice!
  15. Ah, thanks guys - makes sense. I always thought the numbers had a letter in them and that threw me.
