When I first got the 82's I thought they were great. Better than the Polk's. I was ready to sell the LsiM's but then tried the klipsch with a few movies and something was missing. Thought it was the center channel, so I purchased the RC64ii. Great center channel I must say, but I'm afraid to say the Polk's are better for HT. Even without the Polk center ch there still much clearer sounding. I realize everyone's ears are different but just throwing it out there. Polk's for HT and klipsch for 2 ch music

Did I miss something that's funny

I have klipsch RF 82's and Polk LsiM703's. For 2ch music I prefer the 82's, but for home theater the 703's blow the klipsch away. There is no comparison. Even for the 703 being only a bookshelf it still has way more detail than the floorstanding 82's. For home theater, the 707's would be the pick. With the 703's matted with a good subwoofer, it make a killer system that is very hard to beat.

I bought my first set of Klipsch speakers and am really impressed with them. Got them at Future Shop on a two for one deal. They have the same specs as the RF 82 || but they are not listed on Klipsch's website. Was a little worried cause they are FutureShop exclusive but these speakers pound. Has anyone heard the two side by side.
