Thoughts on adding a KSW-50 To a KV-3 center to give a full range effect? I'd run speaker cable from center posts on amp to speaker inputs on sub and adjust the low pass crossover to extend the range of the KV-3. Is this fesiable or am I barking up the wrong tree here? It would be used with Forte mains.

My 1985 model forte's are labeled "nominal impedance 4 ohm" below the the binding posts. This web site states on the cutsheet that the nominal impedance of the forte's to be 8 ohm (years built 1985-1989). If in fact they are 4 ohm would I run into a problem running them mixed in with 8 ohm speakers in a HT setup? My Arcam AVR100 has a switch on the back panel for 4ohm or 6-8ohm Could someone please help clearup my confussion? Thanks!!!
