welcome to the forum Mray. i'm interested in your speakers. e-mail sent
jweber, if his email means what i think it means, you guys could be neighbors
If you get them and need a hand, just give me a shout.
-
Can you post a picture on here? Any idea on a price? Where are they (state)?
-
Thanks Billy,
I sent an email to the seller.

Thinking Cornwall II...$400.:
I want them, I'm just too far away....again.
Tried to call you. Have your phone call my phone when you can.
-
Yea, I got one too:
"Do you still have interest in buying this item?let me know if you are
still interested and i will email you more details as soon as i hear
from you" -
Looks like a CF1 or CF2. I think the 1 has 6" and 2 has 8" cones, but I could be wrong.
The center channel in the ad is a KV something I think.
I believe you're right. The CF1s have a single port.
Not sure if he really has them, or if they're 50$. Too far for me to follow up on. For the money, they'd make some nice centers for a HT.
-
Is this a CF1? If so, I’d give $50 for a working pair.

Any upgrades such as Xovers?
Pictures might help move these.

Those would look great with my oak Forte IIs. If I didn't have a house full already....

Please contact me if you are interested in these speakers.
Looks like a real nice setup

Wish this one was closer

I just picked a pair of these up from a fellow Klipsch Forum member. Raised them off the floor, as Moray James recomends for these speakers. They do sound great.
-
Never heard them, but if they were closer I would be listening to them for 20$.
-
That didn't last long.
I can see why[]

That’s some great looking cabinets. I like natural
finish on furniture. Thanks, they are nice.
To have some that are not just oak, but figured oak - wow.
So, did the "tiger stripes" occur during the cutting or is this a natural phenominon?
Bill
It’s a combination of phenomenon and the way it’s cut. The
stripes show very prominently when the wood is quarter sawn or in the case of veneer,
sliced. http://www.amishhandcraftedheirlooms.com/quarter-sawn-oak.htmThe cathedral shape grain rarely has the rays with them. I
have read very little about it, and your question has me googling for
information. http://www.forestryforum.com/board/index.php?topic=10074.0I’m not sure about it all, nor is anyone else. When I googled
“Birdseye Maple” I read that no one knows why it happens.

The rays really show in your pictures of the top and left. My Fortes are perfect
and are great looking cabinets, but, to me, those are (because of the figured oak) a
notch above standard cabinets.

sanchopanza, you have mail

$100 each and a free Yamaha. I'd do it if they were closer.

KPT-250
These are still listed. I didn't go see them. I'm too skeered I'd bring it home.
If someone wants it, I can store it until.....

Klipsch Heresy HBR $350.00 firm
Pair of Klipsch Heresy HBR speakers built the 5th week of
1984, these are on slant back risers birch raw but have been finished, they are
not mint but not in too bad shape either and sound great. Price is $350.00 firm
cash, no checks no trades and no scammers if your not serious don't bother. (you're)http://lexington.craigslist.org/ele/3841835519.html
No affiliation
These are close enough for me to check if someone wants
them.
-
I bought those but I couldn't make arrangements to get them- Anyone one the board that wants them, I have proof of purchase - they can get them for free. It's a shame that they are trying to sell them twice.
Good of you to offer.
I would use them if they were closer.
Thought those looked familiar. Too bad you could not get them.
They would fit in your Volvo.

I like the Grandfather clock. I can't imagine that it doesn’t
clank, bang and chime...even at low wattage..

It's a pawn shop. Dude on the phone said they just sold them today...
Like any of us need them. [H]

As far as price: That's not a bad price and they do look good. If I were closer, I'd prolly get them.
