  3. well i messed it up.. i'm so upset.. i wasn't careful enough when setting the bias and i accidently jumped a lead from a emitter resistor to a output cap!!!!!!!!! crap... now that left channel has some real issues now i really need a parts list....
  4. hello. i'm new to the forum, and would like to say thanks for having me. well i just bought this amp from a gentleman, and finally got home and got ready to adjust the bias and dc offset. well i visually noticed two of the output transistors have been replaced at one point, and 4 resistors.. All these parts are on the same channel, (left channel) transistor q12 has been replaced with a (RCA 2n3772) transistor q17 has been replaced with a (hitachi 2sb655a) R14 and R36 have been replaced with big sandstone resistors. 5w 0.33ohm R38 and R33 have been replaced, and i'm afraid that my vision is correct in seeing that the color markings on them are not identical to the right channel, so the value of one of these resistors must be incorrect. This has me concerned. i would love to be able to find or purchase a schematic or service manual for this unit! any idea if it is possible to find original output transistors? are the two replacements acceptable? i really want to get this gem up and working as it would of been when new. its nicer than my current Yamaha M-4 poweramp. and i need a upgrade
