If an AV receiver has the following frequency 40-20Khz. Does this affect the frequency range of subwoofer output? (ie. is the reveiver's sub output also limited to 40-20Khz)

What would happen if 8ohm speakers are connected to 6ohm speaker outlets??

I have narrowed my choices for a new HT setup to just the Paradigm Monitor Series (Monitor 7) and Klipsch Reference Series (RF-3II). Paradigm is about $500 cheaper (Cad $$). Can anyone enlighten me to help make my decision?

What should I look for or listen for in a subwoofer? What would be consider good or no good?? And what brand would be a good balance between quality and price?
