Starting today I will go through my Slade LP collection Yes I am a closet Slade fan and proud of it They started out with a different name in 1966 Never made it big in the USA But copied by US bands 10 years later Overall the music was so good it’s still relevant and popular today Artist - Slade Title - Old New Borrowed and Blue

Best for budget collection builders is Yard sales ( we call them garage sales) Record fares Second hand or charity shops Annual book and record sales held by local charities ( lots of jazz records at 50 cents )

Before CD compilations we had double LP albums or sometimes triple LP albums This is an excellent example of a King Crimson compilation album that was also aptly named Artist - King Crimson Title - The Young Persons Guide To King Crimson

I liked the English 1st release pressing better The differences in SQ are very small and my comments reflect more a feeling felt listening to both records Sometimes it’s hard to describe why one likes this pressing over the other Others may feel the opposite
