I have read that this next album is an understated masterpiece First released in 1962 but was actually recorded in 1957 and sat on by RCA My pressing is German Under RCA - Jazz Special series Released In 1982 and has a different cover to the original Heads up to @Mossy bottom - https://www.discogs.com/Charlie-Mingus-Tijuana-Moods-Jazz-Special/release/3270232 This album is emotional and reflects the artists moods, while on a holiday in Tijuana Artist - Charles Mingus Title - Tijuana Moods

It’s my opinion that anyone into jazz would have this album as a favourite  Recorded in 1959 and still sounding fresh today Wow what an album It’s has a sculptured beauty in musical form Im blown away with all this amazing jazz / Jazz fusion I am spinning Artist - Charles Mingus Title - Ah Um Heads up to @Mossy bottom

  14. @Mossy bottom Well I stand corrected on the ID The exact release version should be in the bar code ( if one is printed on the back cover ) Otherwise it’s either under Europe or France as you mentioned

I will continue spinning Jazz this weekend And this album is just superb Although this is a Cannonball Adderley release the other band members would be considered the “Dream Team “ They are Miles Davis, Hank Jones, Sam Jones, Art Blakey Artist - Cannonball Adderley Title - Something’ Else On Blue Note Records - 1997 Reissue 180gr Original release was in 1958 Heads up to @Tigerman

We get the cyclones and destructive storms every year And local flooding is a regular occurrence, but not in my area even though my place is a couple of streets from the river When we flood whole suburbs and houses go under water - but touch wood we have been lucky on my street as it’s a higher zone

Now going further back in time to the release date of 1956 The Artist would have been about 26 years old at the time If you are a saxophone player you would be playing this music 🎶 On the track You Don’t Know What Love Is — is probably the best ever tenor sax ballad ever recorded Be amazed if you chose to listen to this album — and I recommend you do Artist - Sonny Rollins ( with brilliant musicians supporting him ) Title - Saxophone Colossus
