  5. That is the other way 😃 But if one does not have that service available close or purchasing records online then the DIY method is the only way I have a vacuum RCM and another manual bath brush knosti type The manual method is great if the records don’t require a deep clean
  6. Great album to listen to - love my copy 👌 ———————— The best way to manually clean records is a mix of Alchohol or Clear methylated spirits - up to 25% Window cleaner - up to 10% Dishwashing detergent - up to 5 drops per 500 mls Distilled water Mixed in a spray bottle Clean record grooves using the mix medium above with either White Magic sponge Paint Edge / trim applicator Then Whipe dry with clean/ soft microfibre cloth

A bit of a treat for Jazz / Blues fans Piano is the dominant instrument and those licks are worth stealing I am spinning an album written as a memory of train journeys with his father Artist - The Oscar Peterson Trio Title - Night Train My copy is a Verve recording made exclusively for World Record Club - Australia release from 1974 And they mixed up the record labels side 1 should be side 2 and vice versa I know @Tigerman will enjoy this album
  11. The ensemble is jamming live at the Pawnshop Club in Stockholm Sweden , so familiar tracks get a sparkling uplift
  12. I really like this album because it has great Clarinet A lovely mainstream jazz release that you can sit and listen to in contemplation while sipping on a brandy or wine like @Tigerman. The ensemble also do a great job of the classic- Take Five Artist - Arne Domnérus Featuring - Bengt Hallberg, Georg Riedel, Egil Johansen + Lars Erstrand ‎ Title - Jazz At The Pawnshop
  13. @billybob - I like Uriah Heep myself That beer I mentioned is unfiltered and tastes half way between a bitter and stout
  14. My preferred beer style is the Bitter beers or Dark ales Most beers today are just to refined But a great beer if you can get it is Stone & Wood - Pacific Ale https://www.stoneandwood.com.au/beer/buy-pacific-ale-beer-online.html
  15. Let’s just say that it’s a personal preference what band is better than the other No harm in a little *** for tat 🤪 For me it’s the softer more subtle songs that I prefer - be it Led Zeppelin or Black Sabbath They define the depth of a bands talent
  16. Let’s finish this session with a bang and spin the last album in the collection This album was released one year after Paranoid It’s just another brilliant album Tony Iommi out did himself with detuning his guitar to make it sound rougher and deeper Artist - Black Sabbath Title - Master Of Reality
  17. I am going to follow up on the last album that was played 4 times with another equally great album Some great tracks on this album and the introduction of Doom Rock to the world Again some of the softer song tracks like - Fluff are hauntingly beautiful Artist - Black Sabbath Title - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
  18. A classic album Although I love the leading track - War Pigs I absolutely love some of the more subtle tracks like Planet Caravan Ahh I love this record The walls of my room are shaking Artist - Black Sabbath Title - Paranoid ID - 6360 011
  19. Well I’m going to find my copy of Paranoid and let my hair down Wife is not home so the walls are going to shake
  20. I love all Black Sabbath as I have listened to all the albums But going by my Discogs list - I only have 2 LPs in the collection Masters Of Reality and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath ? thought i had more However I’m pretty sure I have Paranoid as well
  21. They have been influenced by the early prog and the instruments used in that era Bands like King Crimson, Yes, ELP, Gental Giant and many more Then they created a synergy of those styles and made it there own
  22. We won’t hold that against him 🤪
  23. Mike @dirtmudd and others interested in prog music These fellows from Norway are recreating the prog sounds of the golden period 1969 to 1974 So far they have released 4 albums starting about 2004 And this one is the newest released 2017 - enjoy
  24. A brilliant album @Tigerman Did you enjoy the LP as much as the wine
