  1. I should note and happy to mention that I just added to the King Crimson collection with my latest purchase Live at the Orpheum [200g Vinyl] Now in transit to me and will spin when it arrives 🤪
  2. King Crimson is - Always on rotation at my house no 14 day period goes by without a play

One if not the first albums that I purchased was King Crimson - In The Court Of The Crimson King And if they did not disband or due to them disbanding I would not have have found Genesis I was still in High School It forced me to look at other bands to fill the gap And “Boy did I fill the gap “ with some of the most wonderful prog ever released
  4. Dont take my post in the wrong way I also love Fragile- it’s a brilliant album But just like you I had more early exposure to Close To The Edge
  5. Yes - Close To The Edge is probably my favourite Yes release but I like the first 3 Records immensely Edit All my Yes Records are first press and almost all of my collection
  6. You need to be in the right mood But I grew up watching Frank Sinatra movies so I can slip into a nice mood easily no matter what records are playing
  7. @BlueHusky79 I have these 4 records that were handed down to me by a dear friend Needs no introduction and and went by the handle of Ol Blue Eyes and the leader of the Rat Pack I'm really enjoying playing these records tonight and even had a dance with the wife The Reprise Years is almost mint condition, but the others are a little worn Still enjoyable Artist - Frank Sinatra Title - The Reprise Years

  13. It’s very hot in Brisbane town today So a little cooling , soothing jazz fussion is what’s called for A nice jazz fussion record that flows unhindered like a winding river Artist - Jacob Magnusson Title - Special Treatment

Now for something different This is a French band formed in 1966 but 3 members were Moroccan born and one Italian born ( so not to French 🤪 ) But a Frenchman did join later on when a founding member left A mix of styles from prog to rock to world to soul & country influences in one album This album was from 1975 and released on Buddha records The album art has a little French flair Artist - Les Variations Title - Cafe De Paris

  21. I am a mechanical engineer by trade So they not only look good they are over engineered 3 of these to cover 4 steps each, and the wood was natural so I finished it with lacquer Brackets Dyna Bolt to wall in 316 Stainless steel
  22. It’s been renovation work for me Making and fitting handrails to the stairs for some elderly family visitors I was told no visitors until I did this 😀 But it was done to some music ✅
