  1. Curious why nobody here on the Klipsch Community seems to recommend Klipsch subs. Are they not quality?
  2. I'm not looking for serious HT bass. I'm just trying to balance out the RB-61's a bit. I will be converting an upstairs room to a HT over the next year or so.
  3. 25x18 family room. All woof paneling with a brick fireplace. Not looking for max power, just trying to balance out the system. Under $400 preferred but I can do up to $500.
  4. Any suggestions on a sub that pairs well with the RB-61's?
  5. It sounds like the RC-62 is the good choice since this setup is in my family room.
  6. Definitely not upgrading to the RF-82's first. I'm already unhappy with the RC-52 with my RB-61's. My choices at this point are RC-62, RC-64, or screw it new sub... Would the RC-62 pair well with the RF-82's?
  7. Hey guys, I've recently moved out of my apartment and bought my first house. My setup was originally RB-61 fronts with a RC-62 center. Due to some size limitations when mounting, I opted to trade the RC-62 for an RC-52. Now that I have moved, I am considering a new change (the RC-64), I plan in the future to use my RB-61's and purchase RF-82's for the front. That's my reasoning for wanting the RC-64. My question is, will the RC-64 be too much in the interim (possibly more that a year) paired with my current RB-61 fronts?

  9. Sorry for the quality. I will get better pics once everything is fully installed and I clean up the room.
  10. Well, I ordered on March 3rd and they are finally being delivered today. I will add some pics after work.
  11. Funny enough, I just tried leaving a voicemail and he picked up in the middle of it. I'm about to place my order now.
  12. You won't be disappointed. After you order I would call them the next day, Tom will probably answer; he will let you know how long it will be before they can start. Once they start, depending on what they're building, it's pretty quick. All in all, it took 21 days to get mine; not bad considering it's hand made to order. I emailed him, and called him 4 times on Thursday and Friday. I have yet to get a hold of him.
  13. Those look amazing! I'm totally going to order.
  14. Did they come in? I'd like to see them. I'm about to pull the trigger.
  15. I think you will be okay. If you were using the RB-81II's or RF-82II's, I would highly oppose the RC-52II. Bill Thanks. That's what I will do then. I do have the option to switch are living room around (we have two), but there are quite a few downsides to the other room which is why we switched to this one...
  16. Would you have enough room to use the kick stand and angle it down toward your ears? Bill I could probably manage to angle it down a tad. Is that distance ok for the RC-52?
  17. The room is roughly 22.5ft. x 12ft. Distance from center speaker position would be 10ish ft. Will it be a problem that it is mounted above ear level? I want to anchor the dialogue to the TV and it is wall mounted rather high.
  18. Honestly, the RC-42 II would be a perfect fit under the mantle, but I don't want have a bad setup just for looks.
  19. I just purchase RB-61 II's and a RC-62 II for the below room. I read the measurements of the RC-62 when ordering, but it seems much larger in person. I was planning on wall mounting it under the mantle but it looks silly when I hold it up. It is almost 4" deeper than the mantle so it sticks out a lot. I was thinking about returning it for an RC-52 II, but wasn't sure if that was the best idea. Will the RC-52 be well matched to the RB-61s?
  20. Awesome, thanks for the clarification. So is there a power output range that I should be shooting for on a receiver or is it irrelevant?
  21. Am I going to blow the RC-62 if I'm not meeting the 150W RMS?
