Just installed my new cp-1 and thought the same thing, no way this is fitting. But like justin said, take off the stand and force it a bit, it will go. You'll be glad you did, the v.2-400 sound way better now.

Just came her looking to post the same thing. Just got a CP-1 and I must say my promedia v.2-400 sound a lot better than ever before. No hissing and no static sound when i turn the volume knob. Its like getting a new set of speakers. Peace
