  1. Thanks mxr dad. You are second in line. I also have the Btech mounts as well. I really don't have an answer for that. I do remember when I had my mounts (although a different brand), they clamped down very tightly. As mentioned, you could drill a hole in the bottom of the mount so that you can secure the speaker through the threaded inserts (if they have them on the bottom). Hi Randy, James and Dad have expressed interest in buying the Pinpoint AM40. The BT77 are still available. Thank you for all you're help, I will take the AM40's. PM me when you're ready and I'll send the $$ your way. Thanks again for everybody's help, this is probably the first message board that offers such a warm welcome for users!!
  2. Thank you for such a warm welcome! One last question. If I put the rear edge of the speaker, just past the rear security hole, would that allow at least 70 degrees swivel and a safe mounting position? I'm afraid it'll be too front-heavy that way. My guess measurements with a protractor tell me I'll need a max of 70 degrees. I don't know if it'll work
  3. The 81's have "dual bottom threaded inserts for use with a stands", but I just don't know where the holes are located.
  4. Yeah, I'm not good at math to figure that out. I remember with my RB-35, because they were so deep, I definitely could not swivel a full 90 degrees. Do some figuring and research. If you decide you want them, let me know and I'll look up shipping. Do the AM40's have screw holes to secure the speakers to the mount?
  5. Thank you! I will need to swivel them to an extent.. I will be placing them on the left and right walls because my entertainment system takes up too much space on the wall. I don't know how much angle I will need.
  6. Thank you! I can only pray that RB-81 II's will fit. How much to ship to 06811?
  7. I'm interested in the AM40's. Everything included, like new, etc? How does mounting larger speakers to the stands work with the side brackets?
