  1. All of those sound great, that was what I was looking at including the c-7 center. I just don't have any place nice enough to stock this stuff and go listen to it. So I have to go off of advice and reviews. Thanks guys.
  2. My budget would be around the $600-$900 range. I use it for stereo(2 channel) music with the intention of more HTheatre in the future. 2 KLF-30's up front, KSW-15 sub, future Klipsh center and rears(haven't decided yet). I have been looking at Onkyo like a 696 or something. I am not an audiophile like most of you guys, mine would be less frequent use but enjoy good clean crisp sound when I listen.
  3. Anyone know where I can find good reviews of receivers. I am in the market for a new one. Thanks, Derrick
  4. I have tried connnecting them directly with the sub off on the reciever. Changing the modes does not make any noticeable difference. I can't tell if the reciever just doesn't have any power or what. I am going to connect my old Pioneer SX-650 to them and see what happens. I know it has enough power.
  5. I have tried both ways and there is not any difference that I can tell. I agree, they are not subs but I am not all that impressed with the way they sound in my living room.
  6. I have a cheap subwoofer patch cord now, I know it is not that great but I don't know how much a better one would help. I have a JVC RXV 9000 VBK receiver powering everything. Would a high dollar sub cable make the auto on and off work properly?? Thanks everyone.
  7. I have a JVC RXV 9000VBK receiver with my KLF 30's hooked to the front channel. The speakers selector is set to large and I don't get the bass that I think I should get out of these. I wired them through my KSW 15 and it has plenty of bass at the lowest setting. So I don't know if it is the bass management on the reciever or not. Even at higher volumes you can't even see the woofer moving. Any help?
  8. Was wondering if anyone knew why I would be getting feedback from my sub after I turn off my receiver. Have the front two speakers wired through the speaker level inputs on the sub and the sub output from receiver going into the sub. Tried it without the sub.output from the reciver disconnected and it still does it. It starts what sound like a humming or fluttering, pretty impressive, shakes the walls and windows. The auto on won't work and the signal is very low if you just connect the sub output from the receiver. The only way to get any volume out of it is to connect the front channel through it. Any ideas?
