The price in Thailand for 3 kl-650 and 2 ks-525 is 6630$.... How much would they be in USA?
And the rf-7 ii and rc-64 ii will be 4215$ Then add the rs-62 for 1204$. A total of 5219 $.
So a difference of approx. 1400$ for the sets.

I didnt want to get subs as i allready have two SVS PB-2000.
-
Allright thank you very much for the advice
-
So I take it that there wont be night and day difference compared to the rf-7 ii when watching movies?
-
It is for 100% movies.
I am located in Thailand and the price is 7000$
-
So I nearly pulled the trigger on the rf-7 ii and rc-64 ii, when i stumbled upon the KL-650-THX.
I could get 3 kl-650 and 2 ks-525 for only 2000$ more. Does anyone have experience with these speakers?
-
O boy if only i lived in the States I would have bought these speakers from you. Beautiful!
-
im sure he means new. New they are 2000$. So not much less.
They list for $1600, can be bought for less.
That was what I was thinking. Thank you. PB-13 ultra is 2140$ here. How much is it in the US?
id get two more of those then.
I am located in Thailand. I can get two PB-2000 for less than one pb13 ultra. What is your location? I ask cause you said dimensions in meters so I'm guessing not in the U.S. If your in the U.S. I have a totally different answer but if your out of the U.S. Then I would say quad pb-2000's up front or dual up front with dual in the rear. Either way I personally think the pb-13 ultra is overpriced. I owned a pair of them before.
No, I would have thought a bigger difference.

Currently I have my speakers in the front corners and the two subs next to them in the front. I have to place the Towers in the corners in order not to interfer with my screen.
And it is 100% for movies.

I'm just looking for the bridge, excuse me have you seen the bridge? Where's that confounded bridge!
-
My room is 8 meters by 4 meters and is a dedicated HT. I have two PB-2000 subs allready, but want one or two more subs. What would be the best option for me?
Option 1: Buy one PB-13 ultra
Option 2: Buy two PB-2000

Look at page 3 and 4 of the manual http://www.rotel.com/content/manuals/rmb1066_multi.pdf
Lol I just looked at it before I saw you posted it. Looks pretty simple to do!

Mono bridge is when you take two channels on an amp and combine them by connecting your speaker's negative cable to one channel and the positive speaker cable to the other channel. Sometimes the amp will also have a "bridge" switch
Got it. Thank you very much ^^

How big is the room that you will be using all of these speakers in? There is a good chance that all of them will not work in most movies unless you matrix them. Surround speakers need to be space to get the best spatial cues and decrease sound congestion.
The room 8x4 meters dedicated HT with an 130" fixed screen. I do know that I can not use all the speakers for now. I will be waiting for 13.x.6 avr to be released. I know it might take a few years before that will happen. For now I just try to get my hands on the speakers before I cant buy them anymore.

Hmm. Thank you for the answers. This is a nice forum for a rookie to ask for advice.
What about the Rotel RMB-1066 which i apparently can mono bridge to run the front stage in 3x150 wpc? I just dont know how to mono bridge. But I guess I can learn it.

I have now decided to upgrade my system to:
RF-7 ii Front
RC-64 ii. Center
RF-62 ii. Wides
RB-81 ii. Front height
RB61 ii. Rear height. (Only because I have them allready)
RS-62 ii Surround sides
RS-62 ii. Surround rear
SVS-PB 2000 Dual
I have been looking at an amplifier named Rotel RMB-1512. It has 12x100 watt. Would that be enough power to drive all my speakers?

I currently have a system of rf-62 ii, rc-62ii, rb-61 ii and dual svs PB-2000. They are only used for home theater.
Now that there is clearence sale, I consider to upgrade before it is to late. I would buy the rf-7 ii and rc-64 ii.
Is the rf-7 ii worth the upgrade/money? I dont have a chance to listen to them as i live 500 miles from the nearest dealer. The Rf-7 ii and rc-64 ii cost 4500$ in my country (I envy the America's ^^).
My goal is to end up with a 11.4 system in the future. So I could use the rf-62 ii as wide speakers. Would that go Well together with the rf-7 ii?
Also I have been using rb-61 ii as side surrounds and I am not really happy with them. Would the rs-62 ii be any better?
Sorry for my bad english as it is not my spoken language.
Does anyone have experience with the KL-650-THX
in Home Theater
