    JUST set up my RP-260F towers, and... Oh my God! Audio heaven!

     I only have the towers so far (I'm getting a complete Klipsch Reference Premiere 5.1 setup, I'm just ordering the other speakers later as more funds become available), but this 2-channel stereo setup sounds absolutely AMAZING! :D  I'm seriously so impressed. How is it possible I'm only running 2 channels but it already sounds like a movie theater in my bedroom!?

     

    The impact, the bass (I don't even have my subwoofer yet!), the clarity, the surround separation! I don't even have my center channel yet but the RP-260F's are so awesome they project the dialogue in a way that it feels like I have a phantom center. It's incredible.

     

    Question, guys.

     

    I'm ordering my RP-440C center tomorrow, and I have enough funds to order either my subwoofer (R-110SW) OR the surrounds (RP-240S) along with the center. I'll have to wait another 2 weeks until payday to order the last part of my 5.1 Klipsch RP setup, whatever that may be.

    So my question to you guys is, which do I order with my Center channel? Do I get the subwoofer so that I can have a 3.1 setup until my next payday, or do I get the surrounds and then order the subwoofer 2 weeks from now?

    Which is more important for the time being?

     

    First of all congrats on your new speakers :)

    I would recommend that you get the surrounds since the towers already produce bass so no need for a subwoofer now. This way you'll have an almost 5.1 setup: 

    right and left speakers

    center speaker

    right and left surrounds

    bass from 2 towers

    I am hoping that other blu-ray players they come out with have this dual hdmi out! It will reallymsave me a wad of cash as i just purchased a Pioneer Elite SC-77. Also, is that j9500 an HDR set and does this blu-ray player output HDR? I think any 4k tv with the proper hdmi 2.0 hdcp 2.2 connection would benefit from this player. Looking forward to getting one for my p602ui-b3

    Yes this bluray player can output HDR. I got one too and the details and colors are absolutely perfect

    Sweeeeeet Ali!  Looks great!  I'm a little over an hour from Houston myself.  it would be great if you could make it to Hope.  I'm pretty sure you'd win the prize for "farthest traveled" LOL.

    I love the open minded conversations in this thread... Not used to that living in the south(Alabama) haha

    Ali, can't wait to see pics and get your thoughts on the RPs

    I heard them in Fryes and was impressed by them.

    hahahah yeah everyone here is amazing. Everyone is very welcoming and that is also one of the many reasons i bought Klipsch speakers. I'll let you know asap how they perform. i"m sure i'll be half deaf after my first listening session

    Congrats Ali, that room looks very nice, lots of copper….and that sub is huge :D

     

    The fun will begin when it's all powered up. You will love it.

    After almost 3 months of waiting they're finally here. I'm absolutely terrified and happy with the size of these beasts. Still waiting for the receiver being cleared at customs (stupid Egyptian customs). Will be setting up very soon. Couldn't be happier for purchasing these speakers :)

    Dave, you have my uttermost respect for what you just said. To put into consideration that i'm Muslim and to know that alcohol is forbidden in Islam is something i really appreciate from you. The fact is i don't mind at all joking around with u guys about beer and i'm not the least bit offended in any way from anyone. Actually, most of muslim frienda drink alcohol so i'm used to it. I'm still buying beer for u guys hahaha. Again, thank you so much for being considerate and it doesn't matter what religion we follow. I consider you guys one big family and i appreciate each and every one of you for taking the time to help me get my Klipsch speakers. Beers and coke for all!!!

    Busht you have been more than helpful and i can't thank you enough. I have a much better overview now. I'll definitely send picsbas soon as i get them. Although it'll take me about 2 months to ship them here :)
