  1. Would a pair of Heresy's in the rear back corners be Ok for surrounds? I have no way of putting them off to my sides or directly behind me, they could only go in the back corners angled towards the sitting position in a 5.1 set-up. How does that sound as an option? I'd be willing to trade my 30's and C7 for a pair of heresys and a reciever, I paid a lot for these speaks and they still look brand new. Have original boxes and manuals.

  2. Am I Crazy? We'll I have a lot of big decision to make this year, The biggest for me right now Is whether or not to retire from the military after 20 years. Do I stay here or move? My HT and 2 channel tastes are still high with me not wanting to spend anymore money. Last year when I went to 2 Channel I sold My Hk 525 my KSP-S6 and a pair of SVS 20-39cs+ and a samson s1000 amp to jump into the 2 channel ring. I'm still kicking myself in the *** for that. Because my HT IMO rocked. But I really wanted a taste of the Heritage 2 channel set-up. I'm thinking one or the other now because my Legends are sitiing in the bedroom with no reciever or surrounds or sub to bring them back to life again. I think I'm more confused than crazy.

  3. Here's what I have for possible trades. Cornwall II, Eico HF-85 and a Dynaco ST-70. What I need is a new reciever and surrounds to go with my KLF-30's and C-7. Like I said This is just an idea to see what might be available on this forum of great Klipsch fans. I really love both but would like to complete my HT system and don't have a lot of $$$ now.

  4. Does anybody use tube amps in their HT setups? I know how to do it but wouldn't hooking a tube amp to a SS reciever or pre-pro defete the purpose of using tubes? I've seen it mentioned here that you should always use a good tube pre amp to get the best effect with tubes. I ask because I was thinking of picking up another ST-70 or possibly a pair of mono tube amps and moving my existing ST-70 to rear channel dutys. Thanks

  5. Is the use of Heresy's in a Heritage system for surround issue a size reason more than a good match reason? I'm just curious as I have Cornwall II and saw that the original Chorus speaks were almost the same speaker with 2 out of three drivers being the same. Does anybody use these two in a HT setup?

  6. We'll after a little more digging, I see that the Original Chorus not the II and the Cornwall II, not the originals both share the same K-79-K Tweeter and K-57-K Midrange, wouldn't the Chorus then be even better match for Cornwall II than even Heresy's?

  7. I'm thinking about setting up a 7.1 sysytem with my exisiting KLF-30's and C-7, I don;t have room for Legend towers in the rear or sides, My question is would you think four WDST speakers or Four direct radiating? Or maybe a set of each? Lastly I know Klipsch never made matching surrounds for the legends and thet the KSP-S6 were the best match, we'll they are too expensive and hard to find now. I was wondering which models you suggest? Thanks

  8. I'd really like to purchase a tuner, something thats stereo and FM of course, I'd really like a tube tuner but open to all offers to go with my exisiting tube gear, I'm looking for one fairly priced and thought maybe one of my Klipsch buddys might have one there willing to part with. Thanks
