  1. I have a pair of old Kg4s that I want to use as the big front speakers for a HT. I haven't bought a proper amp yet, but in the meantime I have noticed a number of Quintet pairs on ebay for cheap. Will they work as my sats? I'm thinking about a Pioneer amp to power everything, but as should be apparent I'm clueless apart from owning a honking set of speakers and an old Onkyo amp that needs replacement. guidance and instruction is appreciated.
  2. Gang: Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately pictures won't show the problem. It's not visable, rather audible and sensory. Does anybody make cabinet shells that I could drop the components into and rewire myself? I would hate to scrap these speakers or sell them for parts.
  3. The front panel of one of my KG4 cabinets is separating from the rest of the cabinet. At decent volume I can physically feel air pouring out like a drafty window and the lower frequencies get terribly distorted. Any solutions (I was thinking an acrylic caulk or something along those lines), or should I start building new ones?
