  1. When you say the second covers the first and you want a third to cover the second your saying basically you have 2 that you want to get rid of, or your saying you want to add to them?
  2. How many people here have Tattoo's, if so any memorial pieces or anything like that? I personally just got into tattoo's a couple months ago basically because of something that happened. My father was killed in a truck driving accident (he was a truck driver) and I had always wanted a tattoo but just didn't really know what to get. This pretty much make it a pretty easy decision, so I got a tattoo of one of his trucks and his name and all that on there. Well then I pretty much got addicted to getting tattoo's so since then I've gotten about 5. I saw one guy here that actually did something really awesome with his fathers initials and put it in the PWK logo! Pretty awesome! I was wondering, has anyone here that is a fan of tattoo's ever considered getting the PWK logo as a tattoo? Anyone actually have It? I've considered doing it but it would be the first time I did a brand as a tattoo. One thing I always like to make sure about when getting tattoo's is that it's something I'll never lose passion for but I can't see myself ever losing passion for Klipsch speakers! Anyone with any memorial tattoo's or anything meaningful or just something you wanna show off please feel free to post pictures.
  3. Yup see that's a good way to do business! Kind of like eBay with new sellers when you get paid you can't touch the money for like 2 months just to make sure the customer is completely satisfied with the product. Even when I sell items on craigslist or swappa (website for buying and selling used cell phones) I always hold on to the fund's until a couple days after the customer receives the product and leaves me a positive review!
  4. Ya, according to everyone on my F-150 forum they all say running 93 octane is better even if your completely stock. Do you know if that's true or not? I actually just recently switched to 93 at my last fill up and to be perfectly honest I don't notice any difference really. Maybe a tiny bit smoother but nothing like what they are saying. Everyone on the forum says I'll have way more power and all this. I am still only about a quarter way through the tank though so who knows maybe I'll see a difference.
  5. YES, this is what I have been thinking this whole time! When your running a business like that you need to have enough money in the bank to be able to refund people if necessary!
  6. Ya, honestly I was continuously trying to give him the benefit of the doubt too untill he started blaming me for this and basically telling me to stay out of the business between him and Klipsch. I really don't blame Klipsch for this but having said that I will say that their customer service seems to be absolutely terrible. Every time I call them I got a different explanation as to what was going on and when the people I talked to said they would call down to the Hope building plant and then get back to me 90% of the time they did not. I did speak to one guy when I called who was very helpful, though I did not get his name, but he actually put me on hold and personally called the building plant in Hope, AK and that's when I found out about the credit card business but other than that none of them seemed to know what was going on. I will say though even with saying all that, had it not been for the dealers credit card declining the speakers would surely have been shipped to me after they were finished being built instead of the order getting cancelled and I guarantee I would have them by now.
  7. Well, ya he definitely was an authorized dealer because as I said he did send me the invoice but blocked out what he actually paid but I'm assuming it was 6k for the pair of Khorns and I called Klipsch and they did confirm the order went through and all that. Now the dealer is getting mad at me saying I should have not called Klipsch to check the order status of the speakers I just spent thousand's of dollars on basically saying the situation is my fault. If I hadn't called no one would have ever known about the credit card issue. @MetropolisLakeOutfitters I know your a dealer. Would you take offense to someone calling to check on an order if it was something as high priced as a pair of Klipschorns? Also the reason I did that was because when I would ask him, he knew nothing about it. All he ever said was I emailed them and am waiting to hear back. Correct me if I am wrong but I have heard numerous times that dealers have a number they can call where they are pretty much guarenteed to speak with someone that will be very helpful in terms of what's goin on with an order. Every time I asked him to call, he said no I prefer email which never got a response for days. If he had called and straightened it out, perhaps they would not have given the original pair of Khorns they built for me, to someone else. He could have just told them its the same order he is just updating the card information. Well, I have a meeting with my bank's manager tomorrow to get a charge reversal going so we will see how that goes.
  8. Ya, in my lifetime I have only had one time where I had to dispute a charge and my bank was excellent about it so I am hoping it will be the same with this.
  9. Haha, ya they were considerably less that's why decided to do it. It's funny I checked Klipsch's website and I didn't see him as a dealer either but when I googled his company name he did get good reviews that's why I decided to do it. Good thing is he did send me the majority of the money back, just missing a part of it which is better than nothing but I'd still like the full refund.
  10. Ya, I did pay using my credit card through paypal I have been trying to dispute the charge but for some reason it's not letting me on paypal's website and when you call all you get is a computer so I am gonna go to the bank tomorrow and open a case.
  11. Alright guys after the experience I've had I am just gonna go ahead and tell you the name of the dealer. It's Rockbottom home theater also goes by the name of diamondback audio. After numerous times telling this guy to give me the rest of my refund he's now asking if I can just accept the speakers and and repay him the portion of the refund he gave me sell them on my own. I couldn't even believe he had the nerve to ask me that honestly. First of all no one in my area would buy which would force me to ship which would be a fortune. Second of all then I have to store the huge boxes in my house which I don't have room for. I am going to the bank first thing tomorrow to file a claim against this guy. I really hate dragging peoples name through the mud but this experience has been the worst most pathetic situation I have ever dealt with in my life.
  12. I paid 8k for the speakers he gave me back 6 and says it'll take a while to get the rest. I'm assuming it costs him 6k for them since he's a dealer and he already spend the other 2k and that's why he's saying he needs time.
  13. Lol no he's talking about the original dealer I had that fell through. What he is referring to is that the dealer gave me 75% of what I paid back as a refund but said it will take some time to get the rest. It wasn't the full 12k though so he doesn't still owe me 3k but definitely enough for me to be concerned and want my money back. The 70th anniversary speaker deal is moving along just fine, those have already shipped and are on their way. I didn't pay full retail for those either though
  14. You know something, I am from CT but I was actually thinking of taking a road trip and going to tell you the truth! How many here are going?
  15. Ya, he definitely had me pay through paypal. The whole thing seemed a little weird to me which was why right after I ordered with him I called up Klipsch to see if it was an actual legit transaction and they did get the order and knew exactly what I was talking about so I thought it was going to go smooth but I guess not. That was the first time I called, second time was a completely different story which was when the whole credit card decline thing came up.
  16. Ya, I was actually wondering if I should make a stink about the waiting for the remainder of the refund but I mean as I said he has been very nice about the whole thing so far.
  17. Wow, that's Toyota for ya! After hearing all the horror stories on the Ford forums I am actually starting to wish I bought the Tundra. Honestly I see people with less than 5k miles and already have problems . I saw one guy that needed a new transmission at about 3400. I guess it's a good thing I got the extended warranty! I do love my truck and that ecoboost is incredible but I don't know if it's worth the trouble. You do see some with 100k+ with no issues but to be honest those seem to be few and far between. I don't know if anyone on here follows JD power reliability but Ford is second to the bottom while Lexus and toyota are in the top 3
  18. Ya, he actually just contacted me and said he finally got through with someone at Klipsch and we suspected they did give the original speakers to another buyer but did start production on the second pair and said 4-6 weeks turnaround. I told him to just go ahead and cancel it, the 70th anniversary were the ones I wanted in the first place, I just decided to go that route to save some money but we see how that turned out. I did get the email from paypal that he sent me the partial refund so that should be on my card by tomorrow I am guessing. According to him, the rest of the money that he hasn't refunded yet was his profit so I am assuming what happened with that is he already spent it and he is going to need some time to get it back to refund me the rest.
  19. Yup I cant wait, and not only that but the 70th anniversary ones have the closed back, or at least that's what they say in the description and show in the pictures so it says the whole corner placement thing isn't as big of an issue with these which was a concern of mine as I made a thread a while back about how one of the corners in my theater room has a pipe coming out that would make it impossible to put them right in the corner.
  20. Lol I do appreciate everyones attempt at finding me a pair that's extremely kind of you all! The pair I ordered already shipped and they are the 70'th anniversary editions! I am definitely not pursuing a new pair from the dealer I had originally dealt with.
  21. It was but then he used a different card and the payment went through. That's why I never even mentioned the card in the first place because I thought it was an issue that had been resolved but apparently speaking with Klipsch they say that's why they gave my pair away because when putting in a new card they created a second order and cancelled the first one which I guess left the speakers they built me up for grabs.
  22. Wow, that's rough I have to say I do see very weird things as it pertains to the windows. A couple people on my F150 forum with pretty new trucks 13-15 say there windows just randomly shattered which I can't imagine why that would happen. Perhaps some body flex or something is all I can think of.
