La Scala mod to Mini Klipschorn (Mini-K)

I also recently purchased a pair of la scalas. I don't believe there have been any upgrades although one is inoperative. They look pretty simple however I don't wish to jump in without knowing a little more. They are 1980 vintage. Anyone have testing procedures or know where I may acquire schematics to follow for testing
