  3. So what would be the best way to go about this.?unplug sub and just run calabration with the klipsch speakers then plug sub up .only thing is I won't have any room corrections for sub. Also doesn't lowering the crossover points after a high 150 setting taking it down to 80 cancel the room correction for towers?idk
  4. That's how I have it now.set at 80 but originally onkyo set them to 450c 50hz 260 40hz 150. 60hz Now it's 450c 60hz 260 150 hz 150 150 hz I'm still using original tune that was using an 12inch sub from years ago . cerwin vega

  9. Hello everyone. My setup has the 260s and a 450c with 150 surrounds .My room is like 16 by 20 or so.I will be spending around 700 to 800 on a sub.I was think of getting either the HSU VTF-3 MK5 Hsu VTF-2 mk5 svs pb 2000 Just curious what you guys think.thanks
  10. Ok So after all this I think that it does give you a little more sound.more spacious around you.but it's not a drastic difference. Using onkyo 646. Ceiling is about 8ft.I'm siting about 10ft from them.if Im dead I'm the middle they sound really good but my normal position in off to one side on sofa.I might play with the angle a little and report back
  11. I have 19 inches behind there to work with.tv mounted on wall and can be pulled out 26inches.
  12. Hello everyone. I was wondering if I got these speakers to go with my 260 towers and 450 center count I mount them on wall behind tv?there is a wife factor and I'm not sure if she would like the look of them on top of the 260s.they would be less than 3ft from towers.top mount speakers ar not an option.
  13. It's me again.i got everything hooked up and the calabration had my 260f crossed at 40.onkyo646.i went ahead and bumped it to 60 and it still sounds good.my next ? Is that I live in a double wide and my walls rumble some so I turns the lfe down to 90 and it's seems to be better.do you think that's a bad idea?wife won't let me put sub anywhere else.
  14. Thanks again Scrappy.when they arrive late next week I will property have juat a few more ?
  15. Next?is what would you cross the 260f over to?60 ,70,80,. Let's say I cross them over at 60 do I cross the sub over at 60?
  16. Now my next purchase around Christmas will be a center channel.i mainly will be watching movies.i guess my options are R-25C RP- 250C Rp-440C Rp-450C Pros and cons?
  17. Just ordered from flebay 142028517997
  18. Thanks Scrappy.Im going to order them later today from eBay for 639$ open box.The guy says they where shipped to wrong address and returned. They still have full warranty. I would have looked into the 280f but space is a factor . hopefully the 13 inch sub will fill in low end. Also what crossover setting would you use with them 60?thanks
  19. Very tuff choices.so would the 8 inch setup 28fs have that much more bass than the 260f?the 28f is a front firing speaker I would think that would effect the bass somewhat.I don't have access to listen to the 260f.but of course I do have a best buy near by with the 28f.They seem to sound pretty good but they don't have a good listening environment. Sure do miss circuit city
  20. Thanks everyone.so if i get the 260f and the speakers is going to be about 9 inches from the back wall is that going to be a problem?I see where people say they are going 2 feet from the wall.
  21. Hello everyone.I have been looking for a while. I have a onkyo 646 with 100watts to power them.My room is 12ft by 12ft. i will be sitting about 9 ft from them. Also ear height about 40 inches. I don't have alot of room so 9.5 inch is about as wide as i can go.Also for the 260f i can only get about 9 inches from wall.My old receiver was a 1992 onkyo.I have a cherwin vega 12inch for sub.I can get the 28f for 610 new or 260f for 639 open box on ebay. Please help .Thanks
