I rebuilt the crossovers,installed the to tweets. Also stuffed them with r15 fiberglass. Now they sound amazing. I put them as my fronts and my kg4.2 in the rear. My HT sounds great.

James the mint H2's weren't so mint. I picked them up for$200. Both tweeters are blown . I ordered crossover repair kits and tweeters from crites. I have to refinish them. Question should I fill them with damping material. I am going to damping the tweeter horn and mid horn. Will Damping the box get it a little more base? I worked great on my 4.2's.

I have found a mint pair of HII's for $400 That I am picking up. I have KG4.2 with crite upgrades as my mains now. KG3's with crite upgrades as my rears. I am wanting to switch the 4.2's to the rear. 3's to front surrounds and the Herseys to my mains. Question should I upgrade the hersey's with the crite upgrades or leave them stock. I an Running a Yamaha TRS 7790 with RC 52II center and [1] R110SW AND [1] R112SW subwoofer. Thanks Rusty

I have the RB10. There is a local person that is selling his RB10 subwoofer that he isn't using. Will it mate up with my RB10 wirelessly like the one I already have.

I am new here. I love the sound of the vintage klipsch speakers. I have a pair of KG3 that I bought that will flat out Jam. Last week I bought a mint pair of KG4.2. that sound good but nowhere near the sound of the KG3. The KG4.2 have been wrapped in blankets in a closet for the last 14 years. I have a yamaha TSR7790 95- 130 per channel I had the kg3 hooked up is a 5.2 system then add the kg4.2 as front and moved the kg3 to the front surrounds.Then calibrated the unit. The KG3 are overpowering the KG4.2. When I listen to the 4.2 in 2 channel they don'e come close to the volume of the KG3 in 2 channel at the same volume level on the unit. The 4's have very little use. Do you think they aren't broke in yet? Need new crossovers? The KG4.2 don't have near the bass as the KG3. Thanks for your response Rusty
