i have been told the rc3 does not match my 20's. therc3 is a christmas present from my wife one year ago, it is rarely used and in mint cond. satin black. trade even and i pay shipping?

i'm going insane!!! Tax money is coming. My stuff, Yamaha RX-V496 AV Receiver, RC3II center, KLF20 mains, 2 crappy surrounds that are not really even surrounds, and a KSW 15 sub. My first upgrade will be a Denon 4802. The only other thing in this lame mess that i want to build around is the KLF 20's. Do i want full range speakers for my surrouds and back surrounds also what about the center and the sub?

RX-V496 Yamaha, KLF20's, RC3II, Room is 24'longx 15'wide. Tried different locations doesent have that crisp punch i like sounds boomey. looking for hookup, setting options. Would a KSW 12 be a better sub than the 15 i got? Thank you, Modoc.

posted on home theater no reply yet thought i would try it here. Yamaha RX-V496, KLF20's, RC3II's, KSW15 sub. Thats where my prolbem begins. My room is 24' long x 15' wide. Is this sub too big? It does not have the crisp punch i like, it sounds boomey? is that a word? Anyway with my limited experience at this i was woundering about settings and hookup options. I have moved it around doesent seem to help. Thank you for any help. Modoc

Hi! everybody. Been on line for a whole mounth this forum is the first thing i have spent all day checking out. I need a mentor, dont know any thing about crossovers, phase switches e.t.c but i would like to get some idea about all of it. I have been building my system over the past few years when the money allows. My mains are KLF 20 had them for many years. The center is RC3-II birthday present from my girlfriend last dec. Yes i am keeping the speakers and her. Last week uncle sam let me get a KSW-15 sub. The surrounds are no concern right now they are next they will be RS3-II. This is all powered by the Yamaha RX-V496. I would like to know where all the various settings should be on the amp & the sub just to get me a base line to go by. Any reply would be greatley appreaciated.
