For sale: Near mint condition Klipsch RC-62II. I have owned this speaker for 2 years in a smoke free, child free home. Speaker has a very small scuff on right side (approximately 3/8" long) but otherwise is in absolute perfect condition. I unfortunately did not keep the original packaging but speaker will be protected well as I work for UPS and have access to shipping materials. I'm looking to get at least $300 and that's including shipping cost. Speaker does weigh just over 30lbs. Please message me if you are interested. I can send additional pictures if requested.

Bipole, Dipole, or Direct Radiating surround back speakers?
Christiaan replied to Christiaan's topic in Home Theater
i hear ya. Aesthetically I love the look of the RP-250's and Klipsch speakers in general. They are beautiful in wall and cabinet built. -

I have but I am going to be building some custom pilars to house the speakers. I suppose the in wall speakers would work as well but I'm just going to stick with my RB-61's and RP-250s' as my rear and side speakers. Thanks for the input. -

I agree. I've given it some thought and will stick with my RB-61's as my rears. The RP-250's are awesome by the way. Thanks for the input. -
Bipole, Dipole, or Direct Radiating surround back speakers?
Christiaan replied to Christiaan's topic in Home Theater
Yes they are. My mistake. I don't know what I was thinking. -
So I am trying to figure out what to finish up my 7.2 home theater with. I have a pair of RF-7 II's, RC-64II's, RP-250s' (surround sides), and deciding between my already owned RB-61II's or another pair of RP-250's. I've read direct radiating speakers are the choice of many enthusiasts such as THX for surround back speakers. Aesthetically I'd also prefer the RP-250s' because the colums will be built 'around' the RP-250s in a trapezoidal way. Please let me know your thoughts and opinions. Thanks.

Hello to all. I am currently finishing up my 7.2 set up with somewhat of a dilemma. I have a pair of RF-7 II's, an RC-64 II, and RP-250s' as surrounds. I have a pair of RB-61 II's that were planned to perform as my surround backs but I am leaning toward another pair of the RP-250s'. Has anyone else achieved this with these 'bipole' like speakers as their rear soundstage and love it? As far as room size, let's say it's on the 'smaller' to 'medium' size. Reason for being vague? Well, my wife and I are currently home shopping. Aesthetically I would prefer the RP-250s' for the matched trapezoidal shaped speaker columns I plan the build. Thanks for the advice and thoughts on this.

Thanks. I will write up a full review as I expect this to be one awesome AVR and would love to get the word out. CA I believe is more popular and used in Europe.

Surround sound dilemma!! Reference II mixed with Reference Premier
Christiaan replied to Christiaan's topic in Home Theater
No problem and glad I was able to help. Chances are, they probably do in fact work perfect but I was some what weary as this individual didn't seem to be 'speaker person' and rather came across these who knows how and is just selling them. Not that this makes a difference but this individuals idea of these speakers 'work perfectly' may differ from what home theater nuts like myself would deem as working perfect. I'm now somewhat bitter about buying used and especially careful who I buy used from. Fooled me once, shame on me...you know the rest haha.- 18 replies

Hello all, so after 3 (not to mention) av receivers in the last 5 years, and after countless hours of research, I have decided to go with a Cambridge Audio CXR-200 av receiver. At this moment I cannot provide a critical or accurate review but from what I researched I feel this avr will be a good decision. It came down to the numbers, 120wpc @8ohms with all channels driven, and even more enticing 170wpc @8ohms with 2 channels driven. Pre-outs are limited to 2 left and right channels which are important and detrimental to what I want to achieve in my home theater. From there this receiver seems to have everything that most to almost all av receivers have EXCEPT, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and the most 'wounding', HDR processing. What I found most intriguing about this receiver is what the essence of home theater is about; the sound and how this receiver processes that sound. Next week when I free this beautiful beast from its cardboard surroundings, I will provide a more detailed and updated review. Does anyone out there have experience or know of anyone owning the Cambridge Audio CXR-200? As always, thank you for you thoughts and comments.
