I have a pair of rf-3 the orginal flavor. They sound the same as when i furst got them. However i agree my ear has grown more used to them and i enjoy them now more than ever. Break in is nothing more than a myth.

Thanks The dent is not in the dust cap it is in the cone it self thanks for the info and i was playing them last night i noticed no change in sound what so ever

Hello i have like tiny dent in my woofer. The dent is the size of a small ballpoint pin head and not very deep. Is there any affect on my speakers. They are rf-3. They seem to function just fine and sound just the same. Will the very tiny dent eventualy pop back out of the woofer over time and use.
