Thanks for all the tips! The KSW-12 is going under the TV in a wall cabinet being built. It will be behind speaker cloth directly below the TV and based on this thread, on a ceramic tile!

Going with Klipsch S3 series speakers for a home theatre setup. Told by salesman to not buy the downfiring KSW-12 sub as it is going below the TV and because there is carpet he recommended the Definitive Technology PS100 instead as it is upfiring and the sound won't get killed by the carpet. Thoughts? Thanks!

Newbie looking for help in HT. Going with Klipsch SB-3 front with SC-1 Center and KSW-12 Sub. Going in a new construction 15x15 room with a vaulted ceiling reaching 16' on one side. My question is at what height should the SCW-3's be mounted in the wall? Perfomance, aesthetics?

3 part question and looking for advice! Home theatre setup and going to go with either the SB-2 or SB-3 for front speakers and either RB-3 or RS-3II for surround. Anyway, local dealer suggested that I upgrade to the center channel RC-3II regardless of which one I go with.? Also, new house so is 12# gauge speaker wire sufficient on 50 foot runs with a Denone AVR3802? One last one, he recommended the Definitive Technology PS100 for my sub.? Thanks for any input, advice etc!
