  1. this was resolved by Klipsch tech support . the resolution was to do a reset on the device by holding the sound up and down buttons on the device for 10 seconds. once it came back on, all was working well. tech support felt it was an IR issue. the device was a display unit at best buy, so I'm thinking the remote was from another unit. everything is working well now. thanks Klipsch tech team!
  2. I just updated to the new firmware. firmware took. soundbar still failing. Issues: - My Klipsch RSB-11 soundbar seems to boost to MAX power at exactly the 1 minute mark (from me adjusting the volume on the soundbar). I am currently having to just leave it on max power and use windows to adjust the volume (sitting near the 10% mark in windows right now.) - The remote ONLY allows me to change input. All other buttons don't do anything. (working = analog, digital, tv, hdmi 1,2,3) (not working = all other buttons). I have to manually adjust volume on the soundbar. Setup: I have the soundbar paired with remote and Sub. Sub is about 3' away from the soundbar. I have the soundbar plugged in via optical to my PC. Asus Rampage IV Extreme. I do not have the soundbar plugged into anything else other than power and optical. I do not need or want it plugged into anything else. ideally: I want the soundbar to stop jumping to max volume. (i don't want to have to adjust Windows volume) I want the remote control to work for volume and sub. Need help. thanks in advance.
