  1. Nice equip, Ibearly had a boom box when I was in school. All that stuff in your room? LHunt
  2. Doug, I like the match between the KV-4 and the LaScala's, the KV-4 is more sensitive then the other center chan makeing it a pretty good match with the LaScala and HeresyII. I used TV mounts to put the speakers on the wall. I can't get to radical as I am only renting this house. I hope to build my own house when I return to the states in 2 or three years. Lhunt
  3. My stereo consist of the following: Denon AVR-3300 (receiver) Sony Trinitron XBR (32in) Adcom 5503 (3 by 200watt)front/center. Adcom 555II (2 by 200 watt)rear Mains LaScala's (94)elevated 1ft on metal stands Center Epic KV-4 (95) Heresy II's rear (95) Sub KT-SW15(95) Sony C701ES (cd player) Sub KSW-300 (not used) Adcom 555II (not used) Sony TC-WR901ES (tape deck) Denon DVD-1500 Sony DVP S533D (DVD) Adcom GDA-700 (Digital converter) Sony MDS-JE330 (mini disc) Sony MDS JE-440 (mini disc) 2 Awia MX-100 VCR's (world wide vcr,any format to any format) Gemini direct drive turn table(I know it's crap) The room is 24ft by 16ft. I use the JE440 minidisc on my pc connected to my Hercules GTXP sound card as it has a fiber in and an out. I mix what I want on the pc and then dump it to the mini disc. I use mini disc because that is what I installed in my car. I am still working out the kinks. I was thinking about buying a B&W set up, now not so sure. I am stationed in Germany (Kaiserslatern) so everything I have is dual voltage, right now it's set for 220vac. This message has been edited by lhunt on 03-13-2002 at 06:11 AM
  4. BobG, Thanks for your suggetion, I have it set up as I type this and so far it sounds pretty sweet. I also have a KSW-300 but I don't much like the soundb it produces with music although it rocks during videos. I currently have it disconnected. Lhunt
  5. Hello All, I have the LaScalas for my mains, a KV-4 Epic for my center, Heresy II's for the rear and an SW-15 for my sub. I am using a Denon 3300 for the front end , but I am not using the internal amps. I am using an Adcom GFA-5503 to push the mains and center. I am using a GFA-555 II to push the rears. My room is 25ftx15ft. My question is what would be the best setting for the bass, should I have just the sub getting all the bass or should I set it up so the front mains also get bass signals sent to them also. Right now I am listening to Marcus Miller a jazz bass guitarest and it sounds wicked. One last Q whats up with the AL's network thing (I bought my LaScalas and Heresy II's in 94). Thanks Lhunt Stationed in Germany
