Are you using mini split HVAC systems for your entire house?

If so, how well do they work?

How well does that sub play? I’m sure it has a lot of detail and all. But how low does it play? Does you think it’s better or the same as a top of the line svs ?

With the two subs... the frequency response it is almost flat... with 90 db average gain.

For me is really the great companion for my setup. I think a frequency response of 18hz to 120h is more that enough with 2000watts peak power each.

You need to play around with the phase... position and volumen level. If you are using a dsp mic usb with rew software you could do amazing settings.

I had never test or hear any svs subs. From what i readed on other forums is that svs it is a great subs with good dynamics and excellent frequency response right to low bottom of 16hz. And with a price tag no willing to broke your savings. I guess is a good alternative.

Nothing about that system is humble
That’s a system to be proud of and handled like a Lamborghini or Ferrari. That means push that gas pedal all the way to the floor and give it all it’s got
That is a very impressive system
It would be wonderful to hear it in person

Hit me up if you ever want to sell the front 3 :) I powered my Palladiums with both a Pioneer Elite Receiver and an Emotiva XPA-5 and they sounded great either way.

I, like Scrappy, have always wanted to dive into the Anthem camp but the right deal just hasn’t presented itself.

    This is my setup

    11.2 or 7.4.2 setup
    2x Klipsch Palladium P39f triamping
    1x Klipsch Palladium P27c biamping
    4x Klipsch Palladium P27s biamping

  7. The palladium system are built and design as 3 way system. I do own p37f and p39f.i do own In the past the rf83. It is wide sound stage and great dinamics, extremely poweful bass, the only issue is has the first generation of loud horns which trends to fatigue your ears in long runs of audio, somehting solved in the reference premier and palladium system.

The rf83 are 2 way system. So definetly it is not a perfect blend using both system.

The right match is the RC64 II or III.

I currently have an Integra DTR 50.4 that is powering a pair of Palladium 17B bookshelves and a Palladium 27C center (my sub is in flux and I don't have rears at the moment). My primary use for my setup is TV and movies (95%) and then audio (streaming from pc, spotify, or phono).

My audio guy is strongly in the camp that the Integra is not fully showcasing the speakers as well as some other receivers could. He's suggesting either the NAD T787 with the newest HDMI MDC installed or an Audio Control AVR-7 or AVR-9. These receivers are definitely a step up in audio quality from the Integra I currently have, but I'm concerned that they don't focus as much on video and thus I might run into problems (looking at forum posts, people complain of HDMI handshake issues and ARC issues). He is also trying to persuade me to stay away from some Asian manufacturers (Marantz, Denon, Onkyo/Integra, Yamaha, Pioneer) as he claims the audio will not be as warm.

I don't have a ton of data points to work with from personal experience. If anyone here has insights on a suitable sounding AV receiver that will mostly be handling video and dialogue over stereo sound, I would be greatful for your input.

Are you willing to sell your center?
