  1. Can anyone tell me if there is a big difference in output and performance between a paradigm PW2200 vs a SVS PC13-ultra, is it night and day? Thanks.
  2. That DVD rocks!!! It's my number 1 DVD. It is a must have for anyone that owns a HT System. My girlfriend doesn't event like Pink Floyd and she thinks the DVD is great.

  4. I am very happy with the way it sounds. this thing kicks *** or it at least it does to me. Does anyone know if I should split the line in cable going to the sub or just leave it as a mono going in? I see a lot of set-ups where they have a Y connector at the end. Denon AVR-3801 NAD 218 AMP Sony CA7ES CD Sony DVP-S560D DVD Sony WEGA KV36FS16 TV Pannamax 5000 Line cond Nakamichi DR3 Tape PW-2200 Sub (ah, I feel complete now) :-) RF-3 II Mains RC-3 II Center RS-3 II Surounds RB-3 II Backs All Straight Wire cable connections.

  7. I am thinking of getting a VTF-2 sub and I have not heard much about this sub in here. Does anyone recommend this sub at all? or should I get an PW2200 they are around the same price at my dealer.. Bruce.
  8. I am thinking of purchasing a VTF-2 powered sub for my system, and I was wondering, when I do the setup for the sound level with my meter should I have it set for the same level as the rest of the channels? Also would it be overkill if I get two of the VTF-2 subs? My room is 13x15x9. My system: Receiver Denon AVR3801 Amp NAD 218 THX TV Sony KV36FS16 DVD DVP-S560D CD Sony CA7ES Tape Nakamichi DR3 Line conditioner Pannamax 5500 Mains RF-3 II Surround RS-3 II and RB-3 Center RC-3 II Cabling Straight wire Thanks for any help.. Bruce

  12. I currently have an SW10 klipsch powered sub. The problem I am having is that I am hearing my local radio station through it. You dont even need the sub connected to a stereo to hear the station, but what is needed is a line input or a speaker cable hooked to it to hear the station, which I believe, is acting like an antenna for the sub. I have tried different outlets in the house and even went as far as to take it to another house to try. And still I have the same problem. Has anyone had or heard of this happening, and can this be an easy fix? Thanks Bruce
  13. Recently I brought a Sunfire Powered sub home to demo and to maybe replace my old sw10. I have a Denon 3801, and I am running FR-3 IIs, a RC3 II, and RB-3s. My speakers are all set to large through the denon setup and I have it set to LFE mode. I am also powering the Mains with a NAD 218 amp. When I hooked up the sunfire I ended up getting a really bad hum and some distortion out of my main speakers with the volume all the way off. I have never had this type of problem before and when I took the Sunfire amp back to the store, they hooked it up to one of their systems and it sounded perfect. The store then gave me a Mirage amp to demo at home and that sounded OK and was hooked up the same way the Sunfire was as well as the sw10. I am using the line input with a splitter. Has anyone heard or know why this is happening with the sunfire amp, is my configuration supposed to be a different way? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
