Not sure if this is the correct area to post this, mods feel free to move as needed. Question for the group in regards to central playback. What is the better route for (preferably lossless) music playback into the system? Option A is one of the systems that's all in one box with NAS connectivity and fancy features. In a lot of my research these, good units start at $2k and up from there. The advantages here are proven performance, optimized connectivity etc. Option B would be to build my own computer and use some type of interface out into the AVR. I work in the pro audio field so I'm confident I can get good signal out of whatever box would end up getting built. Does anyone have any experience with building their own computer and how that would compare to more of these (seemingly) higher end playback/streaming devices?

Getting my hands on 2x R-115SW units and don't need 3x so selling one of them. These last units came out of high end home demo install. Units were installed and hooked up playing background music for 4x days of builders living room showcase conference. Figure I let you fine folks take first shot at this before I post it on fleabay or similar. Original boxes were thrown out so are NOT included hence I really would not like to ship this item. Pickup in Orlando area preferred. Willing to drive a reasonable distance for exchange. Thinking $700 is a fair starting price, I'm open to offers.
