  1. Thanks for the replies. I did look into the Bash 300s. Still on the fence about that. I also contacted someone who is currently selling a refurbished plate on the bay. I asked if he is the one that actually does the refurbishing. He said yes and will be offering the repair service in the winter months for about half the prices of the 300s. I may hold off and possibly get my pile of broken stuff fixed come winter.
  2. I know this is old... Just checking on any new tips... My Sub 10 just bit the dust for the second time. Bought a pulled amp on ebay several years ago then it sat in stand-by mode for several years. Decided to start using the home theater again. Strange tho. Nothing burned. Fuse is fine. Just completely DOA. No light. Nada. I've probed and I know some of the board is powering up. Considering swapping with a Bash 300s but figured I'd try replacing the MOSFETs first. Ordered several and will throw em in soon. I do know one thing tho. This is the last Klipsch anything I ever purchase! Still have my dead Promedia THX 5.1 system boxed up in the garage!
  3. Well, this may be my breaking point with Klipsch. I still have a dead nearly new boxed Promedia 5.1, a dead Synergy 10 amp ( originally from the current sub and I purchased a pull online) and now the replacement pull amp died as well. I've read as many threads as I could find but can't find what mine is doing (or not doing). It's not blowing fuses. The power light isn't doing anything. No pops, sputters or any sign of life. There are no hot spots or blown components that I can see anywhere. The boards are definitely getting power from probing. I've read to replace the MOSFETs. However, don't they blow fuses when they're bad? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
