  1. They look like they are made of real wood. Is that possible? If so, does anything in the serial number designate what kind of wood it is? Thanks. Harry
  2. I just bought a pair of Cornwalls. They are oiled walnut and on the back of one it says serial # 22T204. Does anyone know what that means? I would appreciate any help you could give me. Harry
  3. I took the back off one of the speakers and it was just like Malcolm said so they are obviously 1984 Heresys. I would tell you how much I paid for them but then things would get really ugly. Thanks for the help guys.
  4. I bought a pair of Klipsch speakers at a thrift store and I need some help to identify them. They still have the paper tags on the back but all you can read are the serial numbers-8425597 and 8425598. They have the old style screw terminals on the back. They are 21" high and 15.5" wide. They have a 4" horn on top, a 9" horn below and a 10" woofer. The backs of the speakers are attached with screws and all the components must have been installed through the rear. I would appreciate any help you could give me. Harry
  5. I looked again at the speakers after reading all your messages. It looks like a Klipsch grill but the emblems have fallen off. It doesn't have a passive radiator and there are no numbers on the terminal cup. It looks like at one time there was a piece of paper stapled to the upper right corners of both speakers but only the staples are left. They look to be the same size as the KG-4's in the photo but they have a grill that velcros onto the top. There is also no wood strip across the bottom as the grill covers the whole front. On the back of the lower driver it says K-6-K, Klipsch, and the number 9003. They were only $15 as the people in this town are seriously speaker challenged. Thanks for all your help.
  6. I am trying to get some information about a set of speakers I bought at a second hand store. They are slightly beat up and have no identification on them but when I took one of the drivers out it had Klipsch stamped on it. They are oiled walnut (real wood!) with black grills. They are 27 high, 14 wide and 12 deep. They have two 8 drivers with a 9.5 by 4.5 horn on top. There is also a grill on top of the speaker even though there are no openings on top. I would appreciate any help you could give me. Harry
