  1. The only way he communicates is through Facebook Messenger. I linked the Facebook postings in one of my first messages above. You can go through them to send him a message. Best Don
  2. Visit went well. They are a staright up seller. The equipment is stored indoors in a clean, well lit facility. They are not a reseller - The company upgrades movie theaters - not just the sound systems but the entire theatre. This storage had some speakers from a few of their theatre redo's. I misunderstood that these would be trashed if not sold. They have had them for a while. The do not always save speakers - it is easier for them to demo them. Had good discussions and hopefully they realize that there may be some money in saving them. Talked a lot about the horns and drivers. They did not have any Klipsch horns. Told him about the 402 and 501 and he could probably sell out all that he could find. They will keep that in mind going forward. The 904's were in pretty good shape overall. Dusty and nicked up like you would expect but not beaten up. Inside looked very good and the few woofers I tested (just with a battery) worked fine. Coils had free travel. Some of the speaker wire boxes were busted up a littlle and would need to be replaced. The crossovers in the box looked good on the ones I bought. Again - dusty but no livestock signs. They had about 20- 904's still there. I bought 2 - 904's and 2-480"s (for under my Lascalas) The majority of the speakers were JBL's. I bought 2 - 4722 HF setups with everything except the horn drivers for a very reasonable price. Gonna compare with the 904 once I get it put together. Overall a great trip - wish I could get more but don't have room. Jarred will keep me in mind when more equipment comes in Price list is above. The top JBL line if for the 2374 horn and driver fo the 3722 JBL speaker. He listed it by driver number.
  3. Sorry - but what is the horn lense? I am new to this.
  4. I think they are JBL 2374 and 2384 horns

  6. Found his listings on facebook. There are 2 listings 1. - Bensalem Pa (Philly Area) for JBL Speakers 2. - Hatboro Pa for Amplifiers (ashley). No mention of the Klipsch or JBL equipement. Stock Listed is: 22 - KPT- 904-LF-N at about $160 per 1 - KPT-684-SW at about $300 4 - KP-480/KP-4000-C at about $190 each. I did not see any Klipsch Horns to complete the 904-HF setup. I think they just used them for bass. I told him I would take 2 of the 480"s to put under my Lascalas and 2 of the 904's to play wth. He has a ton of JBLequipment including the bass modules and what looks like about 30 Horns w/ drivers. I think the horns are the JBL 2374"s used in the JBL 3722 speker (also has the bass modules for this speaker) but they may be 2384 model. When I ge down i can measure them and find out. I am going toget a few and install on the 904's to see how they compare to the knock-off 501's. I don't have pricing on the JBL equipment. Please let me let if there is anything I can do to help. I'm about an hour away but retired so more that happy to do what I can.
  7. Yes - Just the LF Box.. The theater had JBL 3310's for the HF.
  8. I may have access to a number of 904-LF-N bass bins in about a month. I am wondering if there is much interest in them. Price would be about $225-$250 each. I would like to get 4 to convert to 2-ways. I would need to get at least 10 or they may go to the dump when they clean out the theater. Location is NY/NJ area. Please let me know thoughts. If there is enough interest I will probably put a bid in.
  9. Price Dropped to $1,250 Will trade for a Rogue Audio - Cronus Magnum 2 or Atlas Magnum 2
  10. Bangor Pennsylvania. Just south of Stroudsburg Pa and the4 Poconos.
  11. Here are pics of the fronts. The ones for sale are on the top.
  12. 1979 Klipsch Cornwall 1 speakers in extremely good condition. Casing shows minimal signs of scratching or fading. Speakers sound good. I purchased from original owner who was meticulous in his care. These are the best condition speakers I have seen. Will demo. $1,500

I guess this is where I just take my beating and go homešŸ¤„. Its amazing how knowledgeable this forum is. Thanks for all the comments and the education. I guess I should do a little more research on anything I sell before posting. I am going to keep and enjoy the speakers.

Thanks for clarifying that and its not nitpicky at all. The gent that I got them from was original owner and he said he bought them that way. Don't know if dealer would do something like that or not. I do trust him as we had a good conversation on them and stereo/music in general and he was very down to earth. He is an older gentleman that was downsizing to leave his home so had to get rid of the speakers. Don't think he wanted to. I also have a set of Conwall 2, La Scala and Forte 1 that are all Raw Birch on the tag and all have a laquor coating of some kind. I assumed raw birch came the way. Learn something new every time I read this forum.

Sorry - Bangor Pa. Eastern PA between Easton PA and Stroudsburg PA.
  18. Agreed. These are in pristine, museum quality shape. That is why I am struggling with the pricing. I figured between$750 to $1,000 for a Cornwall I in "B+" shape but these really are in "A+" shape. Never seen a vintage speaker in this good original condition. Thanks for the coments - I am going to keep a while and think on it.
  19. Need help to price out a 1979 Cornwall set in imaculate original condition. Not a scratch on them and still have the original finish. They are beautiful. They play fantastic but could probabky use a crossover upgrade due to age to make them sing. Live in the NY/Philly area. My question is how much of a premium does condition add? I was thinking of asking in the $1500 range but would like other, more knowlegeable, feedback. I bought them for myself but, after seeing them, they are too nice for my listening room. They should be in a showcase arrangement. I have a set of Cornwall 2's and love them. I was going to tower them with these but I think I need to pass them on to somebody who can show them. All thoughts are aprreciated - even saying I am a fool for selling.
