  1. So with that do you think that it would be worth switching from the infinity r162's? I feel like there are equally as bright as Klipsch but way more laid back. $159 vs $329 worth it? Thanks!
  2. Hi all, I just bought an RC-62 ii center and RB-51 ii's for rear. I also have infinity R162's in the front but I think I want to go all klipsch. The RB-61 ii are hard to find but the RP-160m are available most places. Would the RP-160m's match well with my center? I got such a great deal on the infinity's $159 for the pair, I hate to replace them but I feel like things would sound better with all horns. The kicker is if I go with the RB-61 ii I have to pay $330 plus tax. I can get the RP-160m's on Amazon with credit that I have for $221 with tax. What should I do?

  4. Even my wife hard a hard time hearing any difference. I will say though I have to crank the level to +4dbon the infinity's to get them matched and bring the center down to -5db and the only thing I notice is the Infinity's sound less forward.

  6. Hi, I recently purchased Infinity R162's for my fronts and their matching rc252 cetner. After being hugelt underwhelmed by their center I purchased a RC-62 ii and love it. I know mixing horns and domes is supposedly terrible but honestly after level matching and Yamaha ypao, I have a hard time hearing any noticable difference. I also purchased a pair of rb-51 ii's expecting the infinity/Klipsch blend to be terrible but even when I hooked up one r162 and one rb-51 ii, they seem to sound oddly similar, the only exception being the Klipsch books project more. Now my question is, are my ears just not experienced enough or is there a chance this combo just ended up working great together?
  7. Hi, I recently purchased a RC-62 ii center for my home theater setup. My question is with price being a factor would there be much of a difference going with the RB-51 ii books over the 61's? The 61's are hard to find new and are $329pr while the 51's I can get for $219. If using a sub is there really any difference? Also I know the 51's are rear ported vs front. They would be about 6" from a wall if that makes a difference, again I will be using a sub. Any help would be great, thanks!
  8. Thanks. I'll probably end up going with the 51's. The only places online I have seen the 61's they were around $300 pr used.
  9. Hi all, This is my first post. I recently bought a set of infinity reference fronts coming from the Klipsch r-15m and a r-25c. I'm not really crazy about the more recessed sound of the infinity rc252 center. My first question is how would a rc 62 ii sound paired with the infinity r162's and second question if I switch back to all Klipsch mains how will the rc 62 ii sound with rb-51's ? The rb 62's are nowhere to be found and too expensive used so the 51's are my options or how would the RP-160m's sound with the rc 62 ii. A lot of questions and would be glad for some input.
