    Hi,

I purchase Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-500SA 2 and kept them on top of floor standing Speaker as Dolby Atmos Speaker. I like to know what is best cross over frequency for right response.

    Hello Manoj,

I have the same atmos speakers, do you know the best crossover?

I would use a XO of 100-80 Hz with all speakers set to small if using a sub.  These are small speakers should work well with a XO around 100-80 Hz.

The manual says 150 min. crossover, that's the discussion here 🙂

Hello, I have researched and thank you all for your contributions, because refining knowledge and making it easier to understand is a challenge. very well..I have read this post several times .. and the manufacturer says in the manual .. that if you use the RP-500SA and the RP-140SA as a surround you can use the 80HZ crossover (it would be ideal) but if you use them as dolby Atmos then the minimum crossover recommended by the manufacturer is 150HZ. and the truth is that I use it in 200hz and it's more immersive and dynamic ... try and tell me ... thank you ..

    Good research, thank you.

I noticed that I have put more DB(like 3DB more at least) to the Atmos speakers to hear them. I try the 200HZ and let you know.

All, thanks for the additional details and I'm not sure how I missed that in the manual.  I suppose I'll set mine to 150Hz to err on the safe side, but it seems that they are certainly capable of going lower than that from my rather crude tests.

    Hello Ian,

Sorry for the late reaction but I just bought a set of the 140sa and I wonder what is the best crossover?

    150Hz or lower/higher?

Because what Gusphan said(80HZ) is a little strange because the the manual says 150 min. crossover.
