  2. Personally I love the look of the Heresy, for me there is a certain class about them in the look department with grill cover on. however I often wonder if I were ever to be so lucky enough to own a pair what part of my body would receive the best sound, my knees or my ears.

They just seem low to the ground.  I cant really comment on how they sound as unfortunately I have never heard a pair.  Maybe looks are deceiving in this aspect in regards to sound.  I know the HIII are elevated somewhat but still.

  3. Its a personal preference, there is no right or wrong as to which movie a person thinks is the best of the lot.

For me it is EPIII in the way how Darth Vader was born...  for me it was build around what I believe to be one of the foundations of the Star Wars movies and that is a quote by Darth Vader "you don't know the power of the dark side"  this quote is not from EPIII however but this movie is build around this quote I believe.

  4. Hi all

Thank you for your responses on Audio Nirvana, i actually do know the general meaning but I think the responses were spot on. This place is awesome.

My point I was trying to make is there is no such real measurement of audio nirvana, there is no such real set level. It is each to their own.

I think at the time I wrote it I was thinking how lucky are those who find audio nirvana in a non expensive HTIB, it sure would save them a whole lot of time and a whole lot of money.  But then I think unless they have an amazing HTIB then they could be missing on so much more depending on the quality of the HTIB of cause and the size of the box.

Personally I love presence in speakers.  to me they need to look awesome, they need to stand out, they need to look big, but that is just me..  I like to look at a speaker and even if it is not doing anything I am thinking WOW.

Thank you again for your responses on the Audio Nirvana and the great responses I am sure it would help others.  It just shows the wealth of knowledge in this place and the willingness to help others.  👍

  5. Right now I am truly happy with my set up, truly happy with the sound I am getting in my room with my equipment to my ears, However even though I am truly happy with the my set up and how it sounds to me in my hearts of hearts I know it could sound better....

Please elaborate.  And to be clear for some audio is an addiction and purchases are made regardless of the ability to afford those purchases.

    Hi Tarheel

    Many examples come to mind,

Just one example would be, i dunno, lets say for argument sake you are listening to a pair of La Scalas at a Home Theatre show and you are like WOW, however you know there is no way they would be suitable for your room , like your room is way too small to fit those speakers, so, you may love the sound of them, you may be able to afford them however you may need to walk away from that purchase.  this is just one example that the decision is only impacting on one self.
